Do you sand the model after riveting?...I seem to lose the rivets after a couple coats of paint but I sanded the model after riveting...I lost 2 weeks of riveting on my 1/32 Revell Beaufighter (You can see it on my Beau build vid) which was really disappointing...Thanks for the video

Do you restore old models? That is, if I sent you one? I have two old Monogram models that my father made bake in the late 70s. One is a very rare and unique "Polished Aluminum" P-51 Mustang. The other is a B-17G. Both have seen a lot of years of damage but my father was very detailed when he put models together. I could fix them but I thought it would be fitting if you put your craft to work.

Beautiful work! I saw that you used clear coat over the plane before applying decals and then over the decals. Did you perhaps add another layer of matte clear before the weathering process?

I never had the desire to weather my models as I liked the 'new showroom' look. I very rarely make comments but after watching this video of he Avenger . . . . . absolutely awesome dood. You clearly have an eye for the colour combinations etc, which i don't as i'm slightly colour blind. The time and dedication that you've clearly submitted to this model has most certainly paid off. I think I will be watching more of your very well presented videos. I will buy some cheap and cheerful models and just start by playing around. You have been most inspirational to me, thank you

My first WW2 airplane kit was the 1/72 TBM Avenger from Airfix , more than 40 years ago. Not only because it was the first, I always remember this plane because at that time I was fascinated with the story of the mysterious disappearance of Flight 19 of Avenger over the Bermuda Triangle in 1945.
