my Multimeter has two options for 600 and 200v, I want to test a few breakers but not sure what setting is right or best. anyone know?

Don't you use switch/breaker lock off devices and everybody involved with the work has a padlock and separate tag? Circuit is verified and everybody locks the circuit off and everybody has to reinstate the circuit by each removing their padlocking device and signing off the tag when done. So the last tag/padlock guy puts circuit back on and everybody knows.

The clamp meter. For DC current. It has the + on one side and - on the other side of the clamp. What way do I orientate the meter. If I have a positive lead coming through should have the positive facing me? And if I have a negative lead coming through should I have the negative facing me? It's a harbor freight meter.

I am an electrician from Australia, first time I heard GFCIs? what are they?in Australia we have RCDs stand for Residual Current Device or ELCB Earth leakage current breaker. are GFCIs in America only? do they work the same principal?

It's worth noting before buying there are many types of multimeter aimed at different trades, electronics, HVAC, electrical installer, appliance engineers, automotive, etc.

Stick to info. so many people on these videos want to be a comedian I guess thinking it makes the video more entertaining but believe me "It doesn't" it just waste viewers time. Good tip about "dont take a clients word that the power is off" Believe me like you said , it will eventually get you & may kill you. I always work like the circuit is hot anyway from working hot so much so when some Hvac people turned on a circuit I had off and didn't tell me protected me from those type of mishaps.

i am noob but dude you need to use plan and to show where and how to messure things and how to actually find it, make a problem and solve it just generally speaking of devices aint gona help much
