Part of the ride difference might be due to 18" wheels/tires on the Koni equipped car vs 19" wheels/tires on the OEM.

The twisty road driving confidence requires stiffer anti-roll bars, not shock absorbers. You don't get less roll with shock absorbers, but with stiffer springs (which will ruin the ride comfort) or stiffer anti-roll bars which will not ruin the straight ride comfort, but will provide much better confidence in turns. Ask me how I know it.
