Shontelle, FYI, from experience, hand pumping is going to be exhausting. See if you can rent a pump or borrow from a friend; just buy your own attachments. Medela is a great brand!!! Oh, don't forget to freeze milk for hubby when you're away. I had tons in the freezer. Remember to heat by putting in a container and running warm water - never microwave; kills nutrients.

With your first baby you can go 2 wks early or 2 wks late.With my first one I was in labor for 36 hours after getting to hospital lord Jesus it was hard I got a saddle block,2nd child got an epidural,3rd child got to hospital late so I had to have her natural 🥴 an 4th got her at 9 days she belonged to my first born. I named her Heaven because she was a gift from God. Today is the day I got her20 years ago. She was there while I was fighting cancer I had her for 3 years then got3 cancers how weird is that? Praying for a safe fast delivery,if your baby is that big you may have to have a c~cection my daughter had to have one. Love y’all God Bless

Thanks for taking us on your journey you guys are so adorable.. you are all set and ready just some suggestions..get a small crib sheet and a thick blanket to put on the play pen to give him some support ..he needs that just dont put him on that hard plastic pad..lol..and the changing cushion you need a cover also.. it's hard and cold right ..toyarus or Walmart.. you need lots of wash clothes baby ones and some baby shampoo and bath wash.. a thermometer..a good idea lol and some grip water and baby tylenol..that's it my dear.. have a good week and rest rest.. 💗🌈

Electric pump is waaaaay easier. Especially once you go back to work. But do whatever you feel is best for you and baby sis!! Congrats again to y'all can't wait to meet Lil juju as u said lol

Please don’t keep him your room for the entire 1st year! He won’t want to leave. Definitely first few months. And start transferring him to his own room. You can even put him in his own room while he’s napping. Our first child was still coming in our room at like 6 years old.

My babies slept through the night, I prayer baby boy does the same for you.

Hey guys, I looked at the vid earlier today and a few things came to mind...not sure if y'all have these already but I just remembered some stuff my sister used when she had her first child....
Laundry detergent for infants (gentle), a diaper genie, newborn hats/caps, first aid kit with nail trimmer, thermometer, meds in case of fever, some sort of sterile gauze etc for circumcision care ( In case y'all decide to have him circumcised) etc. My sister also used a swaddling wrap and loved it...gave her much more mobility when having to multitask. Formula in case he may be fussy and don't want to nurse. A bottle sterilizer maybe...just in case.
