ОтветитьAn under-rated video from Connor, not that it matters what I say..
ОтветитьOH MIGOSH death note is indeed amazing, and it was the very first anime that i watched... and i agree with what u said word by word. I am happy for how much you've grown and all the amazing friends you've made on this platform. Seeing you with them.. or just seeing any person pursuing their interest and passion just.. really warms my heart. Thank you for making this video, Connor.
NOW GET BACK TO BEING THE IDIOT THAT U ARE!!!
(ps : we all love your idiocy)
Thanks
ОтветитьMy story was watching pokemon and my weeb friend introduced me to mha and I got to season 2 on the second day and I got addicted I brushed it off for a few months but when I started to watch aot but I started to get.....deep feelings for...Armin and...Fell in love with him so I started to listen to vocaloid (I still do listen to a ton of vocaloid)
ОтветитьSo I was in love with anime and manga since I can remember because my sister showed it to me (which is why I have a weirdly specific knowledge of unknown 90s stuff) and while I was the strange kid in school it was actually not because of that and I dragged the friends I had with me in the anime hole. Then my best friend from middle school who I always talked about and drew Manga with back them hurt me really badly and I guess you could say we had a really ugly "breakup" and because of her I simply stopped watching and reading anime and manga. It was not really a concious thing, but I guess it was because it hurt too much too think of her. Then after I graduated from high school I became really ill and while recovering from this illness I got back to the things I loved when I was a child because I felt like I had lost myself and wanted to find me again. I reread all the manga I had loved as a kid. And while I am still emotionally recovering from that illness and the trauma that came with it, it really truly helped me so much to remember who I was before that dark time and to connect with myself again and built a new me. I still have a lot of my friends from elementary school who I showed manga and anime to and I told them I was watching and reading again and they all still are into anime. They never lost the love for what I showed them so many years ago and through which we made so many happy memories back them. I somehow feel so proud of that. And it just feels so great to be watching anime again and gush with friends about it again and I swear to god never again will I allow someone to take away something from me that I love so much.
ОтветитьDeath note be saving lifes
Ответитьvery nice music
ОтветитьAs more videos I watch from Connor, the more I relate to him.

ОтветитьTwo years later money brain move Japan . So we think he pick a the best choice . Him and Iron mouse
ОтветитьWait why does this video have 140k views when it feels like a really important video wtf
Loved it
Yeah this. I remember growing up and being the weird one. And not in a "uwuwu I'm so unique guys, I'm so unique, pick meeee🙄" I was teased for liking cartoons and especially here in South Africa, people are quite backwards and have that small mind mentality when it comes to things they don't see as "normal", so yeah this video is really relatable. I dont want to rant anymore than I have to but omg this video yes.
ОтветитьThis video hits to close to home
ОтветитьMy situation is fukng similar to yours. Death note was my gateway anime. After that I'm so into this that I hardly watch anything other than anime. My friends too feel that I shouldn't be watching cartoons at this age. However, anime connects with me like no other media and I can't stop loving it. 🥺
ОтветитьI cant tell whether this is a joke or not-
ОтветитьIt's 4 AM, I'm at my residence at a enormous country that I've never been to, on my bed, devoid of any friends that I could meet up with though pursuing film as a major. Occasionally, I would ponder, I've gotten both Chemistry as well as Biology A-levels done with, am I genuinely intended to delve into such a career choice, couldn't I get into a major pertaining to genetics or anything of that sorts instead? Therefore, instead of being diligent and getting back to any set of tasks required of me for uni, I instead scroll down Cdawg's channel to eventually encounter this video, delved into it as a medium of entertainment to pass the time and keep on procrastinating though ended up tearing up in the end. Connor might perhaps, how am I kidding? He'll never be reading this, though at least, this is an acknowledgement of him lending a helping, providing me some required reassurance that I could get off my chest.
Ответить"Few anime change life"
- Character who wrote himself
Tasty.
Ответитьshet come back to watch this, things hit different.

ОтветитьHello Connor. Thank you for sharing your story. I can see a lot of heart in your work and that is inspiring and a delight to see. I hope on my own path I would be just as lucky as you and the rest of the guys you’re friends with in Japan (Garnt, Joey, Sydney, Aki, Chris among others) You guys are awesome and I wish you all well. Kind regards Chris.
ОтветитьAnime hasn't changed my life drastically like you but it has influenced me a lot. So many life lessons I've used to succeed
ОтветитьAnime was also my secret untill I joined college and found many other like me 🤣
ОтветитьI’m fucking crying like a lil bitch right now
ОтветитьI was lucky learned to not to give fuck at a young age and had parents who never shamed me and didn't fully understand anime wasn't cool which I think was because of my autism
ОтветитьThank you so much Connor
ОтветитьI started anime late but am a shameless weeb now. I remember my first anime was Fate/Apocrypha and I couldn’t get my head around Astolfo. Also the lore. But mostly Astolfo.
ОтветитьI love you man, and I love this video
ОтветитьSo you are also the one in a millionth guy who's first Anime was Death Note,
ОтветитьAfter some of my hobbies were slowly becoming lackluster, I got more into anime and manga and that really got me to essentially have more faith in humanity. Creators of manga and anime are so dedicated to the craft and I salute them for it. I also loved Japanese media for a long time without knowing as well. I kept playing Nintendo and Sega as a kid. I saw a couple old Godzilla films.. I watched Pokemon and collected the cards. I watched other anime like Sonic X and Kirby and Digimon without knowing they were called anime. Fast forward to after graduating high school, I started watching more anime and 5 years after that I got so much more into it that I started buying merch and getting more interested in Japanese customs. Fast forward to today and anime is one of the things that brings me the most joy in life. Thank you for this story, Connor
Ответитьinspirational video!!!

ОтветитьNot caring of what others think is just so important to live by, because you will just end up being someone who other people want you to be instead of what you want to be.
ОтветитьWow. I’m just now realizing where my kind of outgoing personality has come from. I’d consider myself an ambivert now, but in high school I felt really socially awkward unless with my friends. I watched Naruto as my first “legit” anime in 2019 (even though I grew up watching Pokémon, DBZ, Yugioh etc.), and it had a big impact on me because like Naruto, I also had/have a big dream that I want to accomplish. But also just seeing how confident he was, how he grew, how he was able to bring people together despite his past hardships.. I think it changed my personality a lot from then. I wanted to accomplish my dreams and be able to be someone just as confident as Naruto.
I’ve watched about 2 dozen more animes since then, and I’m currently on One Piece despite saying i’d never watch it because of the episode count. Only to find out that One Piece and Luffy are the closest anime that represent my entire theory on life. Being free and cherishing loyal friendships.
Luffy’s character is literally how I am now but exaggerated. And I aspire to continue to be like him. Always looking forward. Not giving a fuck what people say about your dreams and chasing them. Ignoring the status quo and forging your OWN path. Being there for your friends. Inspiring other people to follow their dreams. Helping people overcome hardships. Fearlessness. Confidence in the face of adversity. But most importantly… enjoying your journey on this earth and creating new experiences.
Other animes have sparked passions in me that I didn’t think I’d have such as cooking from Food Wars. Anime just has a way of putting things in such a beautiful light. It makes YOU want to be in the main character’s shoes. I think it changes you… It defo changed me.
OKAY, I will be back to being an idiot soon don't worry. Enjoy the video though! Let me know what you guys think :)!
