Things I've learned after watching your video:

- First time I'm touching "toggle clip display"
- "Custom settings will base it on the first clip of import": good to know.
- i for in point and o for out point
- I was today years old when I found out FCP has built-in sound effects 😅

I have one Q: I downloaded a bunch of title templates. These templates have fancy fonts. Once I drag them onto the timeline, they all default to Helvetica. Do you happen to know how to fix this?

Hey Will just found you on YT. I am an absolute noob at FCP. I have an M1 MacBook Pro, each time I click on library I get nothing. I cannot see any of my videos. I have got a ext HD but have not stored them on it. All my vids are in the Photos app. any ideas please ?

Hey Will great stuff! Got a question - what sort of hard drive do you use for editing 4k video? Is that Lacie I can see?

Would be nice to show us what to do in a new project where some of the files are 4k and some are 1080, some at 25,50,100 fps. A mash up of file types in one project if you will.

How do you trim the video without trimming the audio?

Sorry to bother you again Will but I was wondering why I can't add a transparent logo to the bottom of my video. I had no problem dropping a regular logo down in the right corner. I figured that out and it looks great. But is there a way I can add an eps logo to the bottom corner? If you could let me know I'd appreciate it. Thanks

Being used to iMovie, when I first opened FCP it was like stepping into a dark empty workshop, I was completely lost! Hi I’m new to video n editing was looking for help and advise, I have a iMac 21.5 in 3.1 ghz i5 memory 8gb 1867 mhz ddr3 , pro graphics 6200 storage 1Tb . I’m using final cut and when I’m editing n trying to play my video it says it drops on frame rate and the video is very chuppy. I was hoping you can help and see if I need to setup up my Mac a certain way. Thank you
