There’s some truth to that, but I, as a 62 year golfer and 30 years teacher, contend that the traditional swing is far more damaging to the human back. Meanwhile, Bryson is a young man, while I in my 80th year on the planet, do not hold my right heal down as long as he does, but only through impact.
ОтветитьWell done, Jim. You’ve explained, in simple terms, the swing that I learned from Moe Norman, himself, in ‘94 and’95 while Moe and I were with Natural Golf. The simplicity and diminished rotation caused my 30 year old twenty handicap to be reduced to a 12 in 6 months. That impressive improvement secured a teaching career for me. I contend that the reduced rotation resulted in my further improvement to a 6 handicap, and my elevation from the best “D” player in my men’s club to an average “A” player. Playing better is more fun.
ОтветитьIf you keep your right foot on the ground as long as he does on the downswing it caused a lot of strain in lower right back.

ОтветитьGreat analysis… Is it fair to say he has a weak right band grip?
ОтветитьVery Moe Norman.
