Thank you for this perspective. It adds to the Mr. Keaton genius.
ОтветитьMy dad said he watched Buster when he was a
kid Thanks dad alot
Buster Keaton is a master of deadpan expression - he expresses so much by expressing so little!
ОтветитьNot only were these stunts incredible but he stayed in character while performing them!
ОтветитьI even see a little "Indian Jones" in the way he always retrieves his hat and jumping on and off moving cars
ОтветитьHe looked like a slim, small guy. That one shot where his bare thighs are visible shows how muscular he was.
ОтветитьBuster Keaton is the master of natural gag !🙂
ОтветитьLegend
ОтветитьThe first jackass
ОтветитьKeaton really was my favourite silent movie star since I can remember.
ОтветитьGrande di tutti I tempi❤
ОтветитьI always thought to myself, that what made humans special, was their joy for music.
Then came the machines and they had rhythm like human ever had.
The machines moved my heart, but my heart cant move machines.
The rhythm of my heart now beats with the machines.
But they were faster than me, and disappeared in the horizon.
시대를 앞서간 사람들은 시간이 지나고 봐도, 아니 오히려 시간이 지나서야 보이는 것'조차' 있다.
ОтветитьHow hasnt Anybody made a Good Film about this mans life
Theres alot more off screen goin on too folks
We need Scorsese on this
G.O.A.T
ОтветитьAmazing
ОтветитьSo when I was 4 ish I saw a Buster Keaton movie, the one where the house falls. And for months afterwards I was convinced and worried that houses just broke, all the damn time.
ОтветитьIt’s insane how well his work aged. It’s completey timeless even tho it was made before my great grandma was born.
ОтветитьIn the old days comedy was made to entertain and make people laugh - today it's made to get alot of money.
ОтветитьIf only my Dad could watch all this now...he use to watch on PBS and loved Buster Keaton
ОтветитьWow!!
ОтветитьEverytime I see a B. Keaton movie, I think about this citation: "They didn't know it was impossible, so they did it". - Mark Twain
ОтветитьI love Buster Keaton.
ОтветитьHe would've killed it in Jackass
Ответить😳😳😳
ОтветитьSimply the best
ОтветитьYou take a dick.. Buster knew it.. ROFL all about gags.. ROFL🤣🤣
ОтветитьMind blowing, still!
ОтветитьHe was amazing, always loved Buster since I was a kid. Have to marvel how he put life and limb on the line to make a scene.
ОтветитьThat final gag was brilliant! I only laughed at Buster Keaton's version so I rewinded to analyse it more. His is the only version where the actor is 1000% oblivious to the gag.
ОтветитьA legend
ОтветитьMerci beaucoup.
Ответитьthe impossible gags are basically old school zach king
ОтветитьI want make films like Buster Keaton when I grow up
ОтветитьGreat video!
Ответить😅😅😅😅well ingormeti0n.Good show more 😅
He broke his neck on a stunt apparently
ОтветитьSo pretty much Danny Duncan
ОтветитьHis world is flat. Because the earth is flat! Thats in fact.
ОтветитьHe was like 100 years ahead of his time. It's perplexing to think someone was so competitive and this much of a perfectionist in those times. What was even his goal when he was already the best? It's insane
ОтветитьHis comedy is legitimately TIMELESS and understood everywhere.
ОтветитьDefinitely not real
..the girl was a dummy...i had to watch that part 10 times
This video has a very different tone compared to the similarly titled "Katie Morgan - The art of the gag".
ОтветитьLoved this video. Funny, informative and hystorical. Thanks!
