Best vacation of your life.

ОтветитьReminder: The denomination "patagonia" is absolutely Chilean; there is no "Argentine Patagonia"; This was a contemporary appropriation (theft) of the Argentines for purely tourist purposes
"Patagonia" derives from the expression "patagones" with which the Portuguese navigator, Hernando de Magallanes (1480-1521) identified the natives who inhabited the famous Strait of Magellan; and this strait is Chilean and has always been Chilean
Furthermore, geographically and climatically speaking, Chilean Patagonia is "green", humid and cold; On the other hand, the falsely called "Argentine Patagonia" is desert - arid (see satellite map) without prejudice to the territorial thefts that the Argentine Republic has carried out in the past on sectors of Chilean Patagonian territory, such as, for example, the attempted unilateral aggression and war by Argentina in the so-called "Beagle Conflict" (1978) where the Argentines attempted to steal by armed means all of Chile's strategic and iconic territories that make up not only the end of America, but also the end of the world. Fortunately evil (and envy) never triumph
Kevin: did you rent a car to get from El Calafate to Torres? How difficult was it to bring the car across the border? I assume an SUV IS IN ORDER? Any advice is appreciated.
ОтветитьMe gusta chile❤ miradores. Garcias desde Australia
Ответитьthe Tierra Del Fuego and Patagonia are the true Terra Australis (what Antarctica should have been.)
instead of the large, mysterious, amazing continent however, we got stuck with a frozen wasteland that has no trees and is too barren to live. sad.
very well summarized. thanks!
ОтветитьLovely video too! I visited 9 years ago; magical and awesome Patsgonia.
ОтветитьA nice Top 5. Hard to narrow it down after El Chalten & Torres Del Paine & Glacier Merino
Ответить"it is an outdoor enthusiast's dream destination" perfect way to describe this magical place on earth 🍀 I used to live for almost one year in El Calafate, and each and every time the nature was enchanting me!
Ответитьis this real-life?
ОтветитьI would look for the ice wall and try to get out of here.
ОтветитьHey Kevin, I’m planning to go over to Chile/Argentina during December. I want to get to Balmaceda from Santiago to then drive to the Caves. Then go back to Balmaceda to then drive to Perito Moreno. Did you have any problems crossing from Chile to Argentina to get to Perito Moreno?
ОтветитьThis video should be benchmark for other videos that talk about destinations and parks for the one simple fact that at the beginning of each segment a map is shown clearly showing the location in a well known scope. We all know how frustrating it is to watch a video about a far off places and can only imagine what region the place is in. That is the norm rather than the exception. A bad example that comes to mind is the audiobook "The Gulag Archipelago". It's one of the greatest and most important books ever written, but it would have been so much more satisfying seeing the places shown on the map just like this video. Also thanks for not dragging things out. Simple direct without any nauseating "icing on the cake, crap, much-a-do any nothing" personality finesssing clever repartee. A Great video that's sufficiently informative, with great camera work about something wonderful and wondrous. I'm punching the subscribe button without checking any of your other content. I never do that. I would have sat through two quick ads for this. Peace
ОтветитьYeah some day. Is definitely on the bucket list!
ОтветитьI love your timelapses! They’re so pretty! What interval do you usually shoot at?
ОтветитьLike as usual :)
