Came for hotel recommendations, stayed for unexpected asmr
ОтветитьThis looks cool🙌🏼 are any of these capsule hotels family friendly?
ОтветитьNo lock would be a deal breaker for me
ОтветитьI can recommend MyCUBE in Asakusa Kuramae area. The neat thing about their capsules is that there is nobody above or below you. You have your own little cube and beneath your cube is the storage area, no need to go to a separate locker which I hate. You can stand up in your cube, great for people with claustrophobia who want to try out the capsule experience.
ОтветитьThere are dormitory-style lodgings all over the world, but I don’t understand what’s supposed to be strange about this type🤔
ОтветитьWhy is there not a "couples capsule hotel" huh? Answer me that @seerasan...
ОтветитьI live in Tokyo and still haven't been to one 😅
ОтветитьWhile it’s something I’ve wanted to try I don’t think I could ever do so knowing I would torture my poor neighbors with my teeth grinding 😂
ОтветитьOne day I go there too

that unexpected asmr <3
ОтветитьAny capsule hotel that has air circulation is my preference, I can't handle being in stuffy rooms.
ОтветитьI watched the whole thing and I am convinced that you are a professional ASMR content creator.
More power to you and your channel!

I wish you included the price and what you thought about each place in the morning you did this for a couple of places but not all of them.
ОтветитьI stayed at First Cabin in Osaka a few years ago and it was a good experience. Still prefer a private room though. Also, I noticed a lot of capsule hotels have closed up as there used to be a lot more of the 9 hours hotels before Covid.
ОтветитьThe first 2 nights of my 3 week Japan trip I stayed at the 9H in Suidobashi. Loved how cheap it was and the layout of the building but man I just couldn't get comfortable on their futons. I don't know if all capsule hotels are that uncomfortable or not but I felt like I was switching sides every 30 min. I'm also a big fan of sleeping with a fan on and I thought the 9H pod was kinda stuffy. Would love to try other capsule hotels in the future, Maybe ones that are a little pricier.
ОтветитьI want one with a tiny tv
ОтветитьThis was great! I enjoyed seeing the differences in each place. Love the book nook. And the movie in the pod is so fun!
Btw I recently ordered a Japanese snack box from another creator and it had Black Thunder in it. Sooo good!
Do these places have lockers for your luggage? So that you can enjoy the city without carrying all you stuff (when your staying more than 1 night)
ОтветитьAmazing ♩
It's a lot better than old Capsule Hotels ♩
昔もやはり、いびきに悩まされました。
I wanna living in Capsule Hotel or Super SENTOU ♩
I got an instant Beehive vibe from the first hotel.
ОтветитьCapshule?
ОтветитьCapsule hotels will be too small for me, height wise
ОтветитьCame here to watch a great review of capsule hotels in Tokyo and got an ASMR video as a bonus!
ОтветитьRather than say which one looked best, I'm gonna say that the airport one at Haneda looked awful!
ОтветитьAsmr channel when?!
ОтветитьI would love to stay in a capsule hotel, but I'm 6ft 5 so I imagine they're just not designed for people my size!
ОтветитьTheatre Zzz next to the Sumida is great also. I loved Book and Bed as well as Manga Art when I last visited!
ОтветитьSarah's ASMR voice 😍. Another fun experience! How close would you say any of these are to a standard capsule hotel experience? Like where a salaryman (or woman) just needs to get some shuteye because he missed the last train home. That would be useful to show, too, I think.
And folks, I recommend doing a little research before going to one. I just kind of winged it in Tokyo years ago thinking the experience would be pretty much the same in all of them and the first one I found was an absolute dive. Like, they had the old-style Japanese toilets in the bathroom and basically just bunk beds in a large communal room. As I had lived in Japan a couple years by that point, I might have managed on my own, but my American friend who came for a vacation and was traveling with me was not having that. Fair enough. We ended up finding a western style hotel that night that had a room available instead.
I took the 'wing-it' approach in Nagoya once, as well, but that time things turned out okay. The capsules were nice and there was an izakaya in the common area where I could get a bite and a drink. There was also a massage therapy room where I was also able to get a professional massage for my sore muscles before going to bed. That place was called WellBe, if I recall. This was about 20 years ago, so I have no idea if it's still there. I went there several times because I had season tickets to the Aichi World Expo back in 2005.
Now I'm going to watch Alyssa's video. Thanks! Bye 🙂
The Manga one had buttloads of dust when her fan started 😂
ОтветитьYou look like a cat in your Bookstore capsule! It doesn't lock on the inside? Can you hear someone snoring if they are on the capsule floor with you? So many questions....
ОтветитьI live in an RV bunk, and I have a cutout to the top bunk where I have my frogs and their things. It's pretty good.
ОтветитьI stayed at the Manga Art Hotel on my last night in Japan. Between the lack of ventilation, my friends snoring and the great availability of manga (I got through most of JJBA) I didn't get much sleep. It was fun though!
ОтветитьGreat content as usual - I would love to hear your thoughts on AKIRA!
ОтветитьMillenials Shibuya was a highlight in my life :)
ОтветитьHaving heard that capsules can get really hot sometimes, that's an immediate no for me even though it looks fascinating.
ОтветитьI've been watching so many Japan vlogs since 2017 or so. You are killing it with these videos GREAT JOB! I did not dare to stay at one of these capsule hotels but thanks to this, would consider staying at one if I ever get the chance to visit Japan again. They look amazing! Greetings from Aruba (Dutch Caribbean).
ОтветитьI stayed at a 9H once. Never again lol. People are SO LOUD ALL THE TIME. Do not recommend!
ОтветитьUp to now I have viewed capsule hotels as primarily functional, to be used only in times of urgency (like when the last train has gone) 😅.
Didn't realize that capsule hotels have evolved their own sub-culture - Book & Bed Shinjuku, and Manga Art Hotel both seem fun places to try. Thanks @seerasan !
One capsule hotel that you may like to visit is Sora-no-Yu, an onsen (hot spring) hotel with additional ganban-yoku (stone bed sauna) facilities. Located right next to Narita Airport, it offers shuttle bus service to and from the airport. Perfect for when you have an early-morning flight the next day, or if you've arrived in Narita late and need some rest before traveling on to Tokyo.
😂men snore a lot 🤣
ОтветитьLove the old school iPhone
ОтветитьReally enjoyed the unexpected Sarah ASMR
ОтветитьI stayed at the Bed & Book in Osaka a couple times. Always a great experience.
Ответить日本には温泉付きのカプセルホテルもたくさんあります♨️
私のお気に入りは愛知県にある『アペゼ(apeze)』というカプセルホテルです✨
First cabin is my favourite to stay for capsule hotels in both osaka and tokyo, they are clean and just have bigger space option too!! not a fan of 9 hour cuz of the plastic-like wall and how popular it is with tourist (it gets super noisy and noise-absorption between the capsules are very poor)
ОтветитьVery helpful video. Thankyou. 1 question tho. Can we stay more than 1 night and put out luggage in the capsule on daylight?
ОтветитьThe white floor and white containers remind me of the prison from Star Wars Andor 😅
