How to make the Real Tandoori Chicken

Tandoor looks great and the chicken looks delicious. But in no way is this a recipe for "Real Tandoori Chicken" - not even remotely. This is like making naan in a wood-fired pizza oven and calling it a "real pizza" recipe!

It's more like oven roasted butter chicken.without the right spices and yogurt i wouldn't say that's a tandoori chicken.

Roel, you should make bread in the tandoor, where you slap it on the inside of the oven and it sticks to bake in very little time. In Turkmenistan, where I met my wife, there are tandoors outside in every housing area where people cook some amazing things, and they are so efficient with fuel. I hope you put this piece in regular rotation in your cooking!
