"The Living Are Not Done With You Yet" T'Challa and Helmut Zemo - Captain America: Civil War (2016)

I know this sounds weird but I wonder what would happen if zemo didn't try to kill himself. Like would panther just tackle zemo? Would he just walk away? Would he continue to talk and try and help him see the errors of his ways?

If Age of Ultron is the foundation for the downfall of Avengers.
Then this movie is the confirmation.
Because in the end nobody wins. Everything fell apart for our heroes.
And the consequences of that came with the end of Infinity War.

ngl zemo wouldve completely won if black panther didn't stop the bullet
he killed probably hundreds of people, he killed t'chaka, made the avengers rip each other apart.
if he died after doing all that, theres no consequence he had to deal with. he had literally nothing to lose cause he has nothing left.

Thank you Marvel for not giving us a great villain and then killing him in the same damn movie. :)

Zemo is the perfect example of a man being so dangerous because he has nothing to lose.

Change my mind, Black Panthers best scenes are in this movie. His intro is sooooo epic. The airport battle is pure epicness

Zemo did what he did out of vengeance,he wanted for the Avengers to feel what he felt,he never wanted to kill people,he just wanted revenge,but in the end hr got what he wanted,he made Cap and Iron Man to fight each other.

Still one of my favorite villains. He’s just man. No powers, tech, just his motivation for revenge. The avengers fought aliens, robots, so called “gods”, but the thing that managed to tear them apart was just a man, who was not motivated by greed or power, but by the goal to get revenge for his wife and so.

Black Panther was more awesome and a badass protagonist here than in his own movie. And his mask is intimidating as fuck too.

We get godlike dialogue scenes like this to She Hulk twerking.

Man, I wish we had this version of T’Challa in his own movie, he was smart, calculating, menacing and seemed like an actual warrior and king, rip Chadwick Boseman

Zemo the one villain to manipulate truths & Lies to his advantage...

This was peak MCU for me. So many great characters in one movie, so many story lines colliding and doing so in ways that felt meaningful and well thought out.

When marvel still had a boat load of creative writing..... Those were the days....

I feel Bad Baron losing his Entire family in Sakovia.

It was ashamed that zemo's wife and son were killed that's a crazy scenario especially how it consumed t'chella with rageful vengeance to try and kill bucky where he was brainwashed and manipulated by hydra that killed Tony's parents and done more damage that's a sick way to endure pain before everyone else was about to turn on each other.

Its amazing how blame can be placed on the heroes trying to stop the chaos, when they didnt start the drama in the first place. And thats how Marvel is always able to continue movie stories "who can a new introduced character blame next" which is the exact premise of the Marvels coming in Nov 2023

It's crazy that the best part of the film wasn't the title character capt America or my favorite superhero spiderman. It was black panther, most compelling hands down.

I almost forgot how good the MCU once was.

The most underrated villain in all the movies. Why? Look at the heroes that all featured in this film. It was Zemos actions alone that ultimatley brought them to this end. Fighting each other, driving a wedge between them so that they can destroy themselves and even if they survive their confrontations they will never reconcile easily. They will doubt and faulter. Imagine what could have been IF Zemo never did what he did. The avengers for the most part would've all most likely stayed together under the accords, but they would've been together. Higher chance of saving vision and the mind stone, strange and the time stone even. Beating thanos? Yeah that's never a easy answer. Call it 50/50 at best case scenario with the avengers doing trust falls on the regular basis 😂

I think Zemo is the best villain, he had his whole life ripped away from him because of the avengers, and then played chess with them to make them break each other. "A patient man is a dangerous man. For in waiting and keeping at the work, he learns what needs to be done and when it needs to be done."
