almost to 1,000 subscribers, look at you now buddy. 147,000
Massive accomplishment!
3 years ago, he talked about being excited to get to 1k subs now my guy is at 147k (September,2023). Hats off to you my sir👍🏼
ОтветитьHi, any comparison to Mement CineBloom 5% and 10% filters? Regards :)
ОтветитьAre you recording it in slog?
ОтветитьIs the Tiffen 55mm Black Pro-Mist 1/4 Filter
Stackable? Like does it have threading so I can put another filter on it?
woah "we are almost to a thousand" you are at 144,000 now haha great job man!
ОтветитьDo i need pro mist for video or photos? or can i do both with it?
ОтветитьHello :) what filter do you use in this video when you are talking? If you are using a filter.
Thank you so much
what camera did you use to record this video?
Ответитьthanks. awesome
ОтветитьThank you!!
ОтветитьHello what filter can you recommend for a beginner? thankss
ОтветитьThis is the 1930s or 1940s B&W look from over exposure to emulsion film.
Ответитьi love the 1/4
Ответитьthank you for this video.
ОтветитьThanks, I impulsively bought both. Think I'll grab a glimmer glass too.
ОтветитьI'm so conflicted. The sharper image looks so much more natural and beautiful.
ОтветитьYikes! I hate it!
It just looks like you added a dust storm to the scene 🤷♂️
thanks so much for this video! helps so much!
ОтветитьIs it normal to have excessive lens flare with this filter? Gloom is ok but the lens flare are so overwhelming compared to without.
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьAre they still effective if stacked with a ND filter?
ОтветитьNickel back!!!
Ответитьvery informative- thanks Brady!!
ОтветитьAmazing comparisons between a few scenes and the practicality, I think I'm going with the 1/8 as it adds a light bloom, cinematic soft flare, diminishes harsh highlights, without losing too much detail from the digital perspective, the balance between digital and cinematic film like! 1/8 is it for me!
ОтветитьIs that true that different filters will behave differently on different lenses? For talking head videos and tutorials, for 20mm and 35mm lenses, would you go with 1/8 or 1/4? There are so many uncertainties
ОтветитьHello, if I have a sigma 18 35, which filter should I buy or if I have a super takuma
ОтветитьCan this be used for IPhone 📱 as well?
ОтветитьI like the girl
ОтветитьI dont seem to like the effect around sun lit scenes. Maybe its great for indoors.
ОтветитьHere I am trying to buy the sharpest lenses possible only to then add a pro must filter. 😂
ОтветитьThe best video that I have ever see for those filters. I have one Question. I have a 77mm nd variable filter on my lens. I must buy the same diameter mm(77 to be specific) for the mist pro filter? (because you say that the correct order is: camera lens-pro mist-nd variable ) thanks! Your answer will be very helpful
ОтветитьFor anyone who is interested; when Tiffen created Pro Mist filters they created the different strengths in order to provide a consistent level of filtration across the range of focal lengths because the filtration effect increases as the focal length of the lens becomes more telephoto. A 1/4 pro mist (black or white) will be much stronger on an 85mm lens than it will be on a 25mm lens. A common formula for using Pro Mist filters is 1/2 for 18mm and wider, the 1/4 for 25-35mm and 1/8 for 50mm and above. This principle applies to all diffusion filters. I hope this information is useful.
ОтветитьWhen I look on Amazon they have different mm sizes, how do ik which one fits my camera?
ОтветитьTbh this is essential to make digital photography look good.
ОтветитьWhat size filter do you get for the canon 50mm ?
ОтветитьHi Brady. I have a Sigma 18-35mm. I am interested in getting a ProMist 1/4 but the selections are from 37mm, 49mm, 52mm all the way to 82mm. Which would be the right one to choose?
Ответитьno, seriously, this is the EASIEST, CHEAPEST way to instantly make your footage have that look that most people see all the time but don't actually know how to get it.
diffusion is huge in film. great video!!
Is the smooth look not just a lack of sharpness and contrast and therefore all doable in post processing in software?
ОтветитьLove the ending, 1000 subscribers 😱 now you're at 125k of me writing this comment, Awesome work!!
Ответитьomg I'M GETTING ONE RIIGHT NOW
ОтветитьGreat breakdown! Thanks for the info!
Ответитьyou had that strange light in the shoulder. i think it depend on the filter you're using in this video. i get the same artifacts with my freewell filters on dji drones
ОтветитьName of the background music pls ♥
ОтветитьBecause of sunlight and 1/4 filter mix, the effect on water waves is so warm. does colour become saturated and warm with pro-mist? looking for effect on photographs and not videos
ОтветитьVery good explanation, thank you ❤
ОтветитьBest explanation of Pro Mist filters I've seen so far. Great breakdown with perfect, side by side examples that explain the concept in a way that is easy to understand for someone just starting on this subject. Thank you!
Ответитьgot it on my list!
