ОтветитьPlease, let the guest talk. Guy, your presentation is annoying.
ОтветитьTerrible interviewer, you need to learn to prepare and shut up.
ОтветитьIs Wisdom Tree EPI a good ETF for India?
ОтветитьThe key to compounding is starting early. A Teenager’s Guide on how to Invest Like Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger is a good resource for new investors.
ОтветитьStig speaks too much
ОтветитьHighly insightful and engaging conversation. Thanks for sharing.
Ответить90% interviewer 10% mohnish, not good
ОтветитьThanks love the interview. Possible to get Li Lu?
ОтветитьWho is the host here?
ОтветитьGreat conversation, I enjoyed it very much. Mohnish has been a great inspiration for me so far. I didn't go to Turkey but found a nice compounder with 25% EPS growth annually in Poland. His videos made me go places where few look. Thanks again!
ОтветитьIt would be good to focus only on Mohnish (interviewee) when he speaks, and going back to double screen when Stig (interviewer) asks [succint] questions
ОтветитьInterviewer is just blubbering so much. Prepare better and make your questions to the point snd succint, no one wants to hear useless talk when you have top investor sitting right there.
ОтветитьStop talking so much Moron, let Mohnish speak
ОтветитьWonderful talk, really enjoyed the last part specially which was different than usual Monish more structured talks.
ОтветитьSo, don''t sell when it becomes fully priced...... don't sell when it becomes overpriced...... Lets hope the initial investment was a large sum, or has accrued to such, and that the companies in question are paying very large dividends.
ОтветитьHow to get rich: make a fund and charge insanely high fees.
😂
Thanks for bringing this to us, your time and your thoughts Stig… You were very natural and that’s what made this pleasant and pleasure to watch … I wouldn’t change a thing in your approach … Great going at your age 👍🏼
ОтветитьDude, couldn't you make your questions a little bit shorter, let the guy speak !
ОтветитьThe interviewer did all the talking.
If you want a monologue, do a monologue.
But I listened to the podcast hoping to hear Mohnish talking, not you.
Why does the CCP view apply to BABA but not Tencent and Prosus?
ОтветитьDid the word 'spawner' get mentioned once in this episode?
ОтветитьAren‘t you ashamed, when you interrupt an interview with Mohnish Pabrai for such an opportunistic advertisement of a scammy micro cap crowdsourcing deal??! And I thought the coffee/„technology“ plug was bad.. Really, this should not happen on a channel that aspires to provide great Value Investing content. It‘s depraved
ОтветитьBro it's like Mohnish is interviewing you?
You literally won't stop talking lol
If your country is under military occupation and the occupiers are rounding up members of an ethnic minority for the purpose eliminating them then you go home, finding in your house your neighbors, who are part of the ethnic group being rounded up. There is a knock on the door and the occupiers ask you if there are members of that ethnic minority in your house. Answering truthfully, will help the occupiers (making you a collaborator) and cause the death of that family, lying to the occupiers will save their lives and that of their eventual descendants.
There can be an ethical case for dishonesty. There are thousands of people who are alive today because they were hidden from such searches in various wars when they occurred. Some families were given fake documents that allowed them to escape with their lives. "“Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and do nothing.” - John Stuart Mill (1867)
The comments are correct. The questions are very long
ОтветитьLearn not to talk too much. Couldn’t listen. Went to other mohnish podcasts
Ответитьstop finding refuge in comments that glorified your questions, they are way better shorter
ОтветитьGreat episode!
ОтветитьThanks Stig. I enjoyed this interview with Monish. In contrast to many other commenters, I prefer this kind of conversational discussion style of interview, rather than the simple question, simple answer, on repeat kind of format.
I liked the way that you tried to thoughtfully probe deeper into specific issues, ideas, and concepts of interest, rather than just asking the same old basic cookie cutter questions that get asked in many interviews. Some of the questions were quite long, but in general, it was clear that you were trying to elaborate and clarify certain points. So, this didn't really bother me.
Stig, these are some of the best question I’ve heard anybody asked Mohnish, and you got so much juice out of him. I’m so tired of people asking him about the Buffett lunch, about Reysas, about his IT business, about macro environment etc, basically questions that have been asked a million times that I could tell the answer even before Mohnish answers. Yes, you could have phrases some questions a bit more concise, but overall this was awesome! So don’t listen to the other commenters, keep doing your thing.
ОтветитьHost talks wayyyyyyyyyyyy too much.
ОтветитьThank you for the interview, but I did see that we the audiences telling that better if you shorten your questions and we would love to hear much more from the guest. You didn’t respond to any of these comments. Sorry but Did you even listen to your subcribers?
ОтветитьI've consumed 100s of hours of Monish, this interview has great questions. Thank you
Ответитьur silly questions kills me! be direct!!!
ОтветитьThese longer questions are very well thought and insightful, good job!
ОтветитьWithout offence it would be nice if the guest had more speaking space
ОтветитьLet him speak? Very annoying.
ОтветитьDo Indian men ALL have mustaches?
ОтветитьStig, this was a great conversation!
Unlike many people commenting below, I actually liked your preludes to each question because: Firstly you know Mr Pabrai way better than anyone in your audience; secondly it depicts the nuances you are curious about and thirdly I (we) learn as much from you as we learn from your guest.
Over the years you have had perhaps 7-8 (or more) interviews with Mr Pabrai. I would encourage your dissatisfied listeners to build a watchlist, grab a drink and listen to all of them in consecutive order. A play list like that would paint a great picture of the evolution in Mr Pabrai's investment philosophy and provide insights how some of his ideas have played out.
Long story short- I loved watching the video, and it was great to meet you in person at the TIP events. Thank you very much for organizing them. Mr Pabrai was so right to praise you for giving so much to the community!
Great interview with a great guest! Thank you!
ОтветитьThe questions are too long and rambling. People tune in to hear monish , not the interviewer
ОтветитьThis was great, excellent work Stig!
ОтветитьI see Stig being more intense may be because he is so inspired by Mohnish
ОтветитьGreat interview, great questions. No need to shorten anything. Sometimes thoughful questions just take longer to ask and they also prompted Mohnish to answer thoughtfully.
ОтветитьThanks for the interview Stig. I'd just say it would be a lot more better if the questions were crisp and concise - it's an art in itself - say more with less (classic Charlie Munger :) )
ОтветитьGood effort, thank you
ОтветитьLet the speaker speak ...
