You deflate your tyres(yes proper english not merican they still use mph and pounds stupid) not because rocks might puncture them. But because it doubles your footprint length ways. Makes driving over stuff alot easier.
ОтветитьMercedes is no stranger to big trucks they even make freightliners
Ответитьso this is practically a Honda Acty 4wd dump truck on steroids
ОтветитьI fail to see what is so funny about Unimog.
ОтветитьI had a key like that on the 1976 240D & 1980 300TD wagon I got to drive growing up in the 1990’s
ОтветитьHow did this get titled in 2021 as a 2004? I’m watching November 2023
ОтветитьIrritating laugh spoiled the video...
ОтветитьMercedes Benz is building big trucks since the 1920ies as well and it owns Frightliner and American La France. Unimog is a special 4x4 small truck for any work you can think of. It even runs on railway tracks. Our kind of engineering.
ОтветитьThe parking brake is a spring break, not an air brake. They're also designed to engage automatically should the air system fail.
ОтветитьIt appears to me that the “power ports” that you pointed out on the front and rear of the vehicle are hydraulic connections to run hydraulic tools as opposed to electrical power points.
✌🏼😎🇺🇸
Hopefully Doug has learned how to contain his laughter since this was posted lol. It turned me off of the video
ОтветитьYou might also wanna try a 8x8 Tatra.
ОтветитьThe reason there are two huge cupholders in each door panel is so that you can put your breakfast beer and the lunch beer in an easily accessible spot.
ОтветитьDoug—-got some time? Just listen —-great review!
Ответитьoffroad capabilities 6 out of 10, are you serious? There is no other vehicle commercially available that's better than this. There is a reason why they are used by the military. I guess they know nothing about offroading comparing to your "massive" knowledge base... That indicates how legit (or lack of) your scoring system is.
ОтветитьThis vehicle is so ridiculous it made Doug wear pants
ОтветитьThis thing has more in common with trucks then cars, most of the interior I recocnice from the 90's Actros! And the engine from an Atego.
ОтветитьI first saw one of these around 30yrs ago. Some guy had one in my town as a daily driver and he came hurtling around the corner near my house. The thing is he didn’t take any notice of curbs and just took the racing line almost on 2 wheels. He literally drove it like he stole it. I was in awe immediately.
ОтветитьIs the back part designed for our mother-in-law?
ОтветитьIs there no radio above the head?
Ответитьis there a channel with just UNIMOGS travelling off-road???
ОтветитьIn a couple of years, Americans will take this instead of a Ford F150 to buy groceries and take their kids to school
ОтветитьI'm not sure why EVERYTHING is funny with this guy? Its a unique vehicle and its interesting. Of course its going to be different, but the constant laughing is quite annoying and unnecessary.
ОтветитьI would have liked to have seen Doug show how to change a flat tyre. Speaking of which, they would make a real hum at normal road speeds.
ОтветитьCan you do this without laughing so much
ОтветитьThose are not electric outlets. They are hydraulic connections. These machines are used as farming tractors as well. Or plows, or towing . They are multi functional.
ОтветитьThe door handle is placed so you can open the door, tihihi. That's hilarious.
ОтветитьYou know what's crazier than a Unimog? A 6x6 Unimog.
ОтветитьNo way bro just called this fucking assault tank a “pickup truck”
ОтветитьScania used to name its own similar gear pre-selector Comfort Shift, yet I never saw any normal Mercedes-Benz truck or bus frame with a gear pre-selector. The horn OTOH just sounds like it belongs to any Mercedes-Benz truck or bus in my country.
ОтветитьYour laughing is very annoying!
ОтветитьThis is truly a work truck; the crew section looks like a helicopter, truly a section for the crew This review is a North American review; you got it wrong. If you are in this truck then you are going to work somewhere fairly close. In North America, people buy pickup trucks to be their daily "car". Most Ford F150s look so shiny and polished that you can tell it is their "car". All pickup trucks have their headlights very high and they are a pain in the neck at night blinding everyone else. This truck tells me that in Germany they built a work truck
ОтветитьI like how Doug has no clue about hydraulics
ОтветитьI AM UNSTOPPABLE IN THE ZONE
ОтветитьWith a max top speed of 70Mph you won't be driving it on a US highway.
ОтветитьIs this a Multipla Pick-Up?
ОтветитьIs this guy on laughing gas or something?
ОтветитьDoug carry a measuring tape any time you have an offroad vehicle we want to know ground clearance and tire size. Love unimogs
ОтветитьI hate that they don't put a longer bed on big trucks, like this
ОтветитьHow bad are american vehicles if he's so amazed about simple stuff we've had for decades?
ОтветитьUnimog standing for UNIversal-MOtor-Gerät=Universal motor device, Unimog be in Germany and Europe regualar standart work allterrain MultiVehicles and in a lot combinations, tooling, equipment, jobs aviable. In USA you have XXXL Pickup Trucks that be in europe rare.
Small Size ist ex-GDR Multicar at Unimog everyuse is possible.
but that simple doka (double cabon pickup), just check out the Unimog WAGON bus style cabins that rare and real amazing
ОтветитьArnold Schwarzenegger should be all over that...I bet you he was the previous owner
ОтветитьAvrage american grocery-getter
ОтветитьImagine picking up the kids from school in that.
ОтветитьSo how much did it sell for
ОтветитьPower outlet yes but standard hydraulic not electric
Ответитьno brand in the world can reach german cars
Ответить
