does anyone know where I should go to talk to someone about what I should major in/ what I should study in general? I know I need to go to college for a job that I want but I'm not sure exactly what job? I know I'd like a job where I mostly work from home, and I'd like to work 6-2 or 9-5 Monday through Friday so I'm thinking a telehealth therapist because I'm interested in psychology, but I keep turning around and going "but is that REALLY what I want to do for the rest of my life?"
ОтветитьI'm a junior. It's 12:05 in the morning, and my brain is stressing me out because i dont know how to apply to a college. (Hoping this is normal:)
ОтветитьIf you're planning to go into the college's acting or musical theatre programs from freshman year, they will have you do an audition. Make sure you know those requirements and whether it has to be taped or in person :)
ОтветитьThis is so helpful thank you thank you thank you🙏🙏
ОтветитьI‘m an international student and I don’t understand where I should send my application to? Like to which email of the university or where to submit it?
Some colleges are not on Common App, so how can i send my application there or where to?
Thank you for making this, I’m trying to apply and got out of the military due to injury 2 years ago. I have been trying to wrap my head around the overwhelming process and with some memory loss it’s difficult to stick to and not lose track
ОтветитьHozier's "Movement" started playing in another tab in the first few seconds of this and honestly a BANGER way to start applying to college. Thanks Hozier! (and probably you guys too I still have to watch ur video xD)
Ответитьi havent finished
ОтветитьWhile SAT is not always important, you can get scholarships which are helpful
ОтветитьHow do I get to Harvard?
ОтветитьI’m in 5th grade and it’s past my bedtime and I’m watching this. 😐
ОтветитьIt’s a great video with good tutorials, but I had this guy at my office talk about Stray Administration and how they made degrees, was a decision I will never regret. ❤️
ОтветитьIts a damn shame i never learned this in school.
ОтветитьGuys what University played in the ad slot before the video for you?
ОтветитьI would love to help people apply to college. I love the application process more than anything. I did it twice for undergrad, and twice for grad school, and now I get to help my cousin apply!
ОтветитьLove this channel. I appreciate all the hard work you all do to produce all of these fantastic videos, really helps me study. I would love to see another college video on choosing a masters program and how to apply, etc. Thanks again for the videos!!
ОтветитьThis is excellent!
ОтветитьI was literally waiting for the next episode of this series!
ОтветитьI love love LOVE crash course! Idk if you guys would ever be interested in doing this, but I would love/greatly appreciate a series just like this about applying to graduate school (law school, med school, masters/PhD programs, etc) I know that it’s a super specific demographic but I think the content would be very beneficial to those who love this channel already!
Ответитьdont u just love crash course's small details like the hijabi lady cause its ramadan-?? or the transmutation circle and the young girl with her dog (i think her name was nina) from fmab in crash course physics in one of the electricity episodes- i love this channel and the animators sm goodness---

I wish I had Crash Course as a resource back in high school.
Ответить🙋How a foreign country student can apply???
ОтветитьNow we need Crash Course Post-College on applying to jobs and other aspects of professional world aka Adulting!!
ОтветитьLmao ok now just tell me how to pass.
Last time I tried college I failed in the first semester
If you can, visiting the campus is really helpful. Some campuses you’ll feel at home in, others you’ll know right away that it’s not for you. It sounds so strange to say you should make sure the vibe is right, but it really comes down to that, at least for me.
ОтветитьJust wanted to mention that there are some states across the U.S. that have application systems in which you fill out all your information and submit that to all the schools of your choice. Essay choices are sometimes the same for schools so you can just submit the same paper. Definitely saves time and was the reason I applied to like 9 schools in Texas within a span of like two weeks 😂
ОтветитьWish I knew this before I decided to join the army! Lol.
ОтветитьHow do you find the application to submit it? Like is there some website you have to go to?
ОтветитьAn appreciation for how inclusive thought bubble is 👏 👏 crash course is one of a kind
ОтветитьSome really good advice on college application essays in here.
ОтветитьTutorial request: how to UNapply from college without getting my parents pissed
ОтветитьWill you guys being doing an episode on transferring? Such as from community college to a 4 year school?
ОтветитьLol I remember paying $50 to submit an application years ago, along with the completed application & got zero response back… When calling in for technical difficulties as well, I was hung up. Completely rude. I resolved the issue myself to pay for the application admission… Got zero response as the end result. I didn’t care. — In total, I’ve tried 7-8 different colleges and universities & just obstacles are definite, especially financially. It’s an interesting process to say the least. Best of luck! * I still chose to continue though. :) Just alternative routes ie correspondence learning, and a licensing program. Everything works out as it needs to.
ОтветитьAh, yes —— just crashcourse helping me with my problems, as usual 😂❤
ОтветитьGo Devils 😈
ОтветитьOn the essay,
You kind of have to sell yourself without making it look like that’s what you’re doing. More or less the best way to do that is to be very reflective about the essay process and try to express what is essentially you in the essay. Not just “what is this story I can tell about myself” but “does this story capture the core of my being, or at least an important aspect of it?”
Does this tutorial apply for a third world country?
ОтветитьFirst step should be to figure out what you can afford and what your degree field will be then what the average cost will be. Cause attending a community college while living at home then attending the local public 4 year for say a total cost of 40k is a better choice then paying 120k to attend a out of state school. When both degrees will pay 100k
ОтветитьAdmissions to college in my country are as simple as can be. You literally don't do anything but just let them know you want to study there. They accept students based on how well they did on one standardized test every student in the country takes at the end of high school.
ОтветитьI remember how when I applied to high school I was only accepted into one in my list. It was actually the "reach" high school, number one on my list.
ОтветитьCan archery help me get into college?
Ответитьtoo bad i found this video 10 years later
