TMNT "The Last Ronin" - Full Story | Comicstorian

We're officially going to begin bringing back the TMNT comics and Power Rangers. Be tomorrow or next Tuesday and they'll rotate with each other. Our first attempt at bringing back things non Marvel and DC. (And no, all of you who think TMNT is Marvel, they are not, that was a fun theory that now all non readers think is true. TMNT is IDW and Power Rangers is Boom!)

Now this is a story I wanted to know about

I get it War is terrible, but damn Typical modern ending girls rule boys drool. Could have left at least one alive to be the new master. Let me guess, the new turtles are all gonna be girls.... TO be fair my girls like the turtles more than my boys, but Geeze govt quit trying to make it boys vs girls. We are in this shit together boys and girls are on the same team. Great reading tho pal, and thank you so much. 6 out of 10 story, but the Narator gets 10 out of 10 for the excellent reading!

It’s not about Mikey being the strongest of the Turtles because he’s not. He was just the only one out of commission at the time. Leo basically sacrificed himself along with Casey. Don had No chance being ambushed in the open field with arrows. Ralph went on his suicidal mission. Simple

Mikey was the best turtle imo so him being the one to end it all makes sense

Can anyone tell me what i need to buy to get the whole series in one book?

The only thing I wondered was why didn’t Mikey ever talked to Master Splinter he has illusions of his brothers but no Splinter?

How fitting that it ends with Mikey using his own weapon to finish.

I remember me and my brother we were like who is the last ronin and I thought it was gonna be Leonardo personally or Donatello because of the 2003 episode where he went to the future and witnessed all his brothers died. My brother did thought Michelangelo but also Donatello. And when the comic Finally come out and we read it and when april said you really think I’ll ever forget your face… Michelangelo. We both hype and now it make sense because I remember shredder one time saying Michelangelo can easy be the strongest or the most masterful member but he kept following around and being a child. And now we see ronin he definitely prove he can do it sad the comic is dark and my favorite turtle died

Hear me out, this storyline in the shooting style of the 90' film would kind of go insane. Plus, only having to focus on one practical suit means that one suit could be really damn good!

But, this will only exist in my mind unfortunately.

Poor mikey

I stopped collecting comic books in 1989. I heard so many good things about this book series that I had to pick up the entire collecting (wasn't cheap), so my first comic book purchase in 34 years. The books are made in a way that if you open them, they crease down the spine. Thank you for allowing me to keep the collection in "mint" condition.

I want the book so bad I watched TMNT when I was born

Michael was extremely lonely. He imagined his brother speaking to him and even pissing him off for busting his chops as a coping mechanism. His brothers were even an imaginary comic relief for him as Michaelangelo became the serious one of all.

this shit brought happy tears to my eyes i remember watching the original movie when it came out, i was about 5-6 years old they where everything to me back then, thanks for sharing this ! Happy to see mikey was the hero if the story, he always was my Favorite turtle, Cowabunga !!!

This story sucks and I don’t consider it canon the art looks good but I would say it’s a what if scenario at best

I cried for that ending. as a dying man... rest easy with your brother and loved ones, sensei.

I love how the first issue has a bunch of subtle and not-so-subtle hints as to the identity of the Ronin before it is properly revealed.

We now have a game coming guys!! Any thoughts?!

Michelangelo puts the least effort into his training and still he keeps up with his brothers. If he ever reaches his true potential, he'll be stronger than all of us.

Is there a movie of it or is it just comic?

The Last Ronin just brought Me back to my love of tmnt. Can anyone recommend a series or graphic novel of tmnt to read next? I already have some of the originals.
