Hi, I have the same laptop, Studiobook 2023 H7604. I´m not getting the benchmarks I should expect. I have the factory version of windows, do you have the format from scract? CPU is giving me 31.000 in peerformance test for example, when it should be arround 48.000. The touchscreen cross lines are very annoyning for such a great display also, is there any solution to this? Thanks!!

What about the noice of the Intel chip?

The Asus Pen 🖊 get used this laptop 💻, is it convenient to draw on screen,...? Does this laptop having tablet mode? Screen can rotate 180°...? 360°?

Why does the dual encoder matter from nvidia when you suggest to use the intel encoders / decoders? Or do the windows creator laptops not have intel igpu quicksync

does anyone know if the bricking issue is still a thing? Did ASUS solve it by now?

I'm surprised at the haptic trackpad on the Studio 16. It's as close to Apple's as you can get. As a matter of fact it's essentially a clone of it. Not that it's a bad thing - it's the best experience on a Windows laptop period. But I thought Apple had a patent on this trackpad as every other Windows laptop I own is a diving board design.

I wish the screen is anti-glare.

Great review.. but be careful in the future and don't remove/add RAM sticks while the battery is still there. It could damage the RAM stick and/or the board.

surprise! this laptop series has RJ45 port,that many modern laptop manufactures abundant.

It's not going to be any killer if performance per watt is worse than Apple's M2.

Ive been using several asus laptops and they can seem handy and powerful until software starts bugging problems with battery, fans kicking out while im browsing the internet hot keyboard...etc

With the pen2 on the trackpad surface, will applying pressure cause a click, or does the pen near the surface activate palm rejection? Also, does it still provide haltic feedback with the use of pen? I am unsure of the trackpad upgrade from the physical buttons on the previous model.

you didnt really say in the video , but DDR5 modules 'know' if they are running as a single stick and can emulate dual-channel mode
so in fact having only one sodimm is fine

As much as I love other people opinions and as much as I respect Windows laptops for they're purpose you cannot say that it is an M1 killer. Because I9 + 4070 = Plugged in! Which kills the idea of laptop. Also battery will not be pretty good if you try compiling some code or doing some video editing (which you can't really do because you don't have enough power from battery to sustain the components). With all that said I love this laptop for what it is and what it achieves, but it's far from an M1 killer.
