I used to have one. 7/8ths wolf, one part malamute. When all the dogs in the neighborhood started barking at night Lobo would let out a howl and ever dog would immediately go quiet and stay that way for like 20 minutes. Almost as if they were like "WTF IS THAT!?!?" They instinctually knew he was different. 😅

I guess if you have some land and a lot of time they can make good 'pets' but based on experience I wouldn't otherwise. My mother had one in an urban environment and it was a huge pain in the ass. It would constantly dig up the yard, and more annoyingly want to play fight the whole time.
I think it needed much more space to get the energy out.
It looked nice and could probably beat any dog in a fight, but that would be horrific.
My childhood German shepherd was the prefect pet. Maybe not as tough as a wolf but better in every other way.

I know my dog would absolutley get destroyed but he would not bow at all. He's a game pit & if he sees another male anything he's uncontrollable. Females are a different story. And before people go talking sh!t like i don't know what I'm doing I've raised pit bulls for 17 yrs both male and female have never had this problem with any other dog. But i love my boy so i deal with the stress and take serious extra precaution whenever i allow him to be social because he will die before he let's anybody hurt my wife and kids. He really loves the people at the drive thru windows to for some reason😂

If u raise a wolf pup around other dog pups it will comsider itself a regular dog too,but will have wolf instincts 😮😊❤❤

I had a timber wolf and German Shepherd mix. Best dog ever!! He never left the yard and was a great babysitter with his human siblings. He never barked and only howled which sounded so beautiful. I miss him very much ❤️

To Kool but these pets take a lot of attention and work monkeys and falconry is 100% dedicated. Was going to do falconry till I studied it and was like. I can't do anything else. Uhg lol

I have a half wolf husky mix came from a reserve up north ( and I’m in Winnipeg Canada) people always notice his colouring and facial features right away but most loyal “dog” ever and so tolerable and gentle.

Well first of that wasn’t a wolf. That’s a wolf hybrid and can tell from his demeanor he’s totally chill. Other dogs intimidated purely by his size.
