Eventhough what you are saying is true, but somebody should not design his/her house according to your taste but to the person's taste. If she feels comfortable when the house is empty, flat with no details its her choice.

I think if you lived in an area where the whole city is lit up, I don't think it would be dark at night, especially if you consider the reflective value of the color inside.

Very, very ugly. Nature has extraordinary color and design. K needs to take the time to be around nature. K’s home is empty, void. Even the Antarctic looks more beautiful with the blue sky, water. The home looks like some kind of horrible nightmare. Cold laboratory with experiments.
