nah the GBA version hit hard, I remember when I first beat it, took me 100hrs+ . most of levels were easy even the last few became easy but the last level was and continues to be the hardest till this day
ОтветитьI hate this game
ОтветитьThis SpongeBob game got me had nightmares one time
ОтветитьThis game is like a fever dream I barely remember
Ответитьthe "body horror" youre talking about is rat funk
ОтветитьThis game was my childhood the music lives rent free in my head
ОтветитьI played through this game as a kid on like a weekly basis I loved the monkey wrench SpongeBob. Dreaded Patrick and the plankton ones just such a good game
ОтветитьPs2 version of this gane was peak dude
ОтветитьThis game has had a special place in my heart ever since I first saw it back when I wasn't even able to spell creature. Thank you, discount Gigguk, for talking about it, you've made my day
Ответитьsay what you want, but this game was an amazing part of my childhood and I am glad I had a wii as a child. Wouldn't trade it for any cod.
Ответитьthis game was the goat.
ОтветитьI thought this game was a bad dream that I had.
ОтветитьI used to play the GBA version of the game a lot as a kid.
ОтветитьI played this all the time on the GameCube, I remember everything felt super surreal and the artsyle really creeped me out. But that’s what made me love it so much. I guess constantly playing this game as a kid (it was one of only like 6 games I ever had for the GameCube) is one of the main reasons I love anything “uncanny valley” to this day. Going for all the endings was so much fun, and I remember feeling so proud of myself once I finally got 100%.
ОтветитьI remember having trouble with a mashing prompt in this game often. Came to the point where I used the chattering of my teeth to mash the button as fast as possible. Yeah I put the Wiimote in my mouth sue me.
ОтветитьI loved this game when I was younger. The gamecube version is better.
ОтветитьI legit got a SpongeBob game ad before this video launched and wasn't sure if it was part of the vid
ОтветитьGamer:
any motion controls at all
Gamer: 😠
God damn that childhood nostalgia just hit me like a truck, thanks bro 👊
Ответитьi genuinely remembered playing this on ps2 for some reason, did it ever get ported there or was i playing some kind of bootleg port?
ОтветитьI member
ОтветитьOooh, I completely forgot about Nighty Nightmare! Honestly, that game was... surreal? It was like a nightmare in the sense of "I'll never remember this but it makes me really uncomfortable", and honestly, I don't think I liked it all that much, I remember some weird flesh level for one of the characters and it comprises almost all of my memories.
ОтветитьIt’s funny, but when I played this game as a kid I wasn’t really bothered by the art style of the first level at all, more just supremely I pressed at how unique and bold it was. The part that really made me uncomfortable was the worm part. Idk why, but the whole being inside another living creature trope was (and still is, though not quite as strongly) just a little too icky for me. So much so that I ended up skipping the worm level in Gears 2 not too long ago since my brother had already finished the game on that specific save file.
ОтветитьThe game is the most uncanny, but yet the most something game ever
Ответитьthis game is straight eye cancer
ОтветитьTHIS BOX STINKS
ОтветитьShould've rebooted this not battle for bikini bottom
ОтветитьPlayed the living hell out of this as a small child. Way too much
ОтветитьI got so excited when I saw you were talking about the Creature from the Krusty Krab and then I got really confused why I don't recognize anything. Turns out the Gameboy version I played in ny childhood was completely different to the other versions. Man I loved the Gameboy version, such nice memories
ОтветитьSpongebob was hitting the griddy
ОтветитьFinally someone covered this game i had it for ps2 lost it a while ago wish i still had it such a fun game at the time
Ответитьholy shit i remember playing this on the ds when i was like 6, then the game crashed and my save got corrupted, i was very sad
ОтветитьYou can hit c to do the ground slam
ОтветитьI remember getting to the final race level and throwing myself at it constantly, always coming second place or wiping out altogether. And then when I finally passed the finish line in first place I’m greeted with one of the biggest wtf endings I’ve ever seen in a game, much less a SpongeBob one. Definitely one of the games of all time
ОтветитьBest ps2 game ever
ОтветитьRamzeas alt account found
ОтветитьNeeds a remake
ОтветитьI would play the plankton Godzilla parts over and over again lmao
ОтветитьThis was one of those games when I was a kid that I had no idea or sense of direction as to what to do. Never finished the first level I think, I remember playing as Patrick and getting lost and never playing it again
ОтветитьI had this game for the gba, completely different experience
ОтветитьI remember thinking the first level of the game where you race was the entire game when I was young, until one day I played past it and my mind was blown when I realized how much more there was, and I remember being so upset that I couldn’t find all the collectibles to play as plankton for the final level it haunts me to this day :(
ОтветитьThe marketing is taken directly from an episode of SpongeBob. It's literally the dream episode and that's Plankton dream. To be a giant killer monster
ОтветитьI love this game cuz this is my first game i completed 100% as a 9 years old kid without helps. And the graphics from patrick story is good too like borderlands.
ОтветитьHere in Mexico there used to be a promotion on some chips bags that included a "toy" called "Tazos" and usually the tazos came branded with a popular cartoon of those times, I remember vividly a line of tazos exclusive with that gritty artstyle... I loved it as a child.
ОтветитьThat opening cutscene is a bit too pretty
ОтветитьThis game was always amazing, and I love it as a kid so much
