I worked at L8 as a joiner on the Georgian houses restoration project.
Canning Street...etc.
The contractor was FJ Brereton Ltd,...at the time based in Devon Street L3. The daily stories while working there...you couldn't make it up. A black feller was shouting up to me....compo, compo...drop the window frame on me....so I can claim compensation.

Hi Steady Eddy, L8 was familiar to me when I was a kid.
Grandmother Lowe lived at Lonsdale Street....and then the bulldozers moved in. We live in a rich country (UK) and yet there are "food banks".
