If you want to try to get a job in the UK, there's not a Job Seeker's Visa specifically, and a lot of places prefer you already reside there, or you must rise in a company and hope they do an intracompany transfer to the UK.
It is hard to go back and just see friends that will not leave the UK if you've been there for any length of time.
You must have an itinerary of what exactly you're going to do including details of a job you have to go back to.
It's a little easier if you have cousins there, like me, but you still must have a return ticket, itineraries, proof of a job, business, long-term commitments in the US, etc.
