I really admire Do Yeoung's restraint. Like, even here, with someone claiming to be his daughter's Father who had just beat a man half to death in front of her eyes, he doesn't throw the first punch. He's mostly playing defence, even giving JJ a few chances to stop, and only after he keeps coming does he give him just enough of a beating to stop.

I love the difference between the two first hits, when Jae-Jun hit Do Yeong he ate the punch and only moved a few inches when Do Yeong punched Jae Jun he gets pushed back a few feet and needs to recollect himself like Do Yeong didn’t even move from where he had been punched. Jae Jun was always bitch made he just didn’t know it yet

The real difference between the two is that one is a legacy, with strong family and upbringing. Mother father school fencing martial arts (probably Taekwondo being Korea). Remember he’s supposed to be a Chaebol. Jae-Jun is just run of the mill rich kid. Couple of cool toys, some money to flash but he doesn’t really have anything. It’s the difference between rich and wealthy.

Jae Jun would've been a terrible father and not in the abusive kind of way. He and Yeonjin are 2 Selfish narcissistic violent bullies who are incapable of raising a child well. If Ye Seol lived with her biological dad instead, she would've become a ruthless bully like her parents. The only reason why she's such a soft child is because of Do young.
