I started seeing minor weird glitches on my sapphire rx 580 nitro+ while gaming only, overheating isn't a problem as it barely ever hits 70 celsius and always used default settings. Only a few times has it ever hit 80 and only once it even hit 90 Celsius but my mom was using the gpu at the time. Very rarely it makes small glitches on the screen and recently it flickers with glitches all over for like a sec. Again, only when gaming. This gpu is already used for like 6+ years so I guess the time is coming for it.

When I go to big picture mode on steam my monitor black screens ,after restarting the computer my gpu is disabled, but i can reactivate it again in device manager. When reactivating AMD software says that the display driver has failed to load on my system.
Any advice is appreciated.

well my laptop got screen artifacting and freeze +BSOD😂. But it happen since I upgraded the laptop ram 8x1 to 8x2.

How about random black artefacts that don’t take up whole space on screen and disappear quickly last 2 seconds. There are no green lines. Some times they take 20% of screen space. Like black areas (large pixel effect) is this GPU issue? I have RTX 3090

My rx 570 got a lot of stuttering in hdmi port 1, but if i use hdmi port 2, works perfectly fine, is this a bad signal? Greetings!

Based on this video I don't think it's my GPU it is probably RAM. I have issues that my mouse is stuttering like I move my mouse and it freezes for about few second then it shows on new location and freezes again (usually when changing windows and it takes around 10-15 seconds) now its not common, I got blue screen once (found out GPU doesn't give blue screen) closing all my applications (another sign of RAM or CPU but i think ram can not handle it and a lot takes cpu so cpu just close everything). random reboots also found out its mostly ram or drivers. but now I got like the whole screen went gray like on old TV's when there is no signal, so i thought its GPU but according to this video i guess it is ram. Now I have RX 550 4gb GPU, i-3 10100F CPU, and 8 gb 2666ghz ram, i believe it is ram but if there is someone with more knowledge to help i would appreciate it.

For me, my monitor loses signal and fans start going at full rpm. I am able to restart it using the power button and it's usually fine after that. It has both gone a month+ without the problem and it has happened as frequently as two days in a row.
Temps all seem good.
I was wondering if it could be poorly applied thermal paste on the GPU?

Hi, and I don't know if you are still replying these comments but I have a problem where my PC would randomly have black square boxes appearing for a second and then disappear. Also, I cannot play any games on my PC. I.e., As soon as I go and press play on Fallout 4 my PC would freeze with pink lines filling the whole screen and I have to do a hard reset by holding the on-Power Button on the PC Case until it shuts off and when it I turn it back on it freezes again. So another hard reset with the power button again until I can go into BIOS and select Windows 10 SSD. PS I have both Windows 7 and Windows 10 on separate drives.

Every time I change my display settings from 60hz to 120hz or 144hz on my pc, there is a black strip on the bottom of the screen that is about the size of the taskbar. Every time I run games they run perfectly fine with no lag with 120hz or 144hz, but there is always that massive black strip on the screen. Is this related to my GPU, which is a 3 year old Nvidia GTX 1650 or something else?

Out of nowhere black screen problems occur. Solution: after wasting my 8hrs i finally discovered sata cable was the issue. It was a little bit burnt and had plastic over it. Cleaned it and the GPU is working perfectly now. No more black screen.

My pc is doing micro flicks not hard but soft micro flicks I can still see the resolution it's doing this a lot more compared to when I used it before I went on a 3 month break I also have one line to the right of my monitor I think it's getting worse progressively but the PC is still usable

i need help im currently using gtx 1050ti zotac mini without fan cuz my fan broke im currenty using it to play game with my side panel off its giving my 87 to 90c temps i cant buy a fan cuz i cant find any in my area is there any way i can use my gpu last longer then i can somehow buy a new gpu later.

Thanks for the video, I'm trying to find out what happened with my 1050ti. I started with black blinking and resolution dropped to 1024*768. Device was off in the device manager.
Reboot was helped (btw furmark test went well, no OC, the temp was about 75*C).
After a month reboot is no help and I tried to reinstall drivers - it worked for another month (just the clean install of the same latest nvidia driver)
After a month this stopped working too and the device is not recognizing anymore, there is 1024*768 video without 3d capabilities.
*in other PC the problem is the same.

On my first PC Build from 2020, just yesterday a thing happened. Yep a lighting Strike is my guess, but nothing died on my PC instantly.

(MOBO) MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX, (GPU) Gigabyte AMD RADEON RX5700 XT 8GB, and (CPU) AMD Ryzen 7 3700X


The first thing I should tell you is that the LAN Port on the MOBO never would click into place, so there were times when I had to push in but not a regular thing. When it was plugged in I would get 1 Green and one Orange connection light on the port.
Now the day of the incident hours later I noticed that I had no internet connection, I checked it and tried to reseat the port, no lights at all. Then i noticed that my monitor started to have a "Horizontal Flicker" about a half inch wide and I first thought it was my monitor going bad after two years. After some time I thought it warming up the flicker went away. That did not last but I still thought it was my monitor. Then it gradually got worse to the point where my mouse would freeze and then I started to think it was no so much the Monitor but my Motherboard and or even my Graphics Card.

I tested for updates on all three Monitor/MOBO/GPU and the answer was all up to date and working properly. Or at least the drivers were up to date, but as for errors nothing was presented in the device manager.

That led me to search for some advice and or what to do next. What do you think I should do next? How can I determine what is the real problem and what parts would I need to replace or even upgrade to get my system working again.

If you have the time and could help me out I would appreciate it.

My monitor turn black screen for 2 second than come back. Not common. Maybe every 4 or 5 minute. I was using iGPU everything fine. Then I put my second hand rx 6600 graphic card, then the blackout started. I tried almost every AMD drivers available. Nothing is working. And found out that in GPUZ, texture rate, pixel rate, bandwidth and all the cpu memory speed are at zero and vulkan box is unchecked too. What do you think?

Cuz this morning i have 2 problems, i have alot of artifacts on my screen and when i check display adaptors on device manager, it says that "Windows has stopped this device" with an error icon. Im using a Gefore GTX 780 ti. It works really well yesterday, it overheating but i shut it down and went to bed, and when i wake up things start to appear like i said. Im not a computer expert tho, i tried solving it using softwares and settings but its no use. PS ive checked and my pc has no viruses/malware, it was running very well for a very long time with no problems

I have been facing problem number3 (strange colored artifacts) with my new rx6800xt that I bought a week ago which I can trigger by pressing the Night light (blue light filter) button on the notification tab on the bottom right on windows 10. And it rarely happens in the lock screen when I turn on my pc. And all of these problems came from 2023 drivers and the newest still. I have noticed when I start recording from the amd software the artifacts disappeare and come back after I stop recording the desktop.

Note, I used ddu and downgraded to an older driver from 2022 and thankfully the artifacts are gone, but any driver that released in 2023 will trigger artifacts. They will not appear in any games I play or when the gpu is stressed though.

My monitor broke so i have been using a tv temporarily only issue is tv keep rebooting after i installed a gpu update i tried different tv but it doesn't reboot it just disconnect and give no signal message after opening a game is my gpu dead ?

Everything works fine like cpu fan spinning usb ports and other ports are working but the gpu isnt doing anything. Fans not spinning no display. Could it be the power supply not giving enough power to power my gpu?! Or dead gpu? Or motherboard gpu slot broken?

First i get a black bar at the too of my display that almost covers have my monitor, second it almost looks like my invidia filters stop working because the colors change when im gaming then it freezes my screen and shuts down.
