These game versions of the Alien movie are chillingly epic gameplay versions, just like the Alien movie itself is. I''ve watched all the Alien movies, Ripley is badass in the movie as well as the creatures in the movie itself. 💀💀💀

Gearbox screwed this up BAD! I remember buying this and played it, immediately had buyers remorse. I went back to the Gamestop where I bought it and the moment the clerk looked at what I had in my hand he without hesitation "Another one!" and behind him was a large pile of the games like mine, returned. So i traded it and got Bioshock collection (1&2) and Farcry 3. WAAAAY better for sure lol.

Hahaha, the end was incredibly cheap. I love how the queen managed to sneak into....a spaceship which is currently high in the sky. Developers did not gave a single fuck. Your protagonist could as well launch a fireball from his hand in this video game. It would make just as much sense.

I liked how aliens once used container to stage a surprise attack. This is a nice idea for other games.

Queen battle was designed by a rookie. A classical mistake, add huge boss and plenty of hiding spaces where huge boss can't reach you and as a way to defeat it, just add hidden timer to survive that boss. It is obvious that nobody had time to test anything in this game. Just rush it through the doors as fast as possible.

They had no pacing towards medical ward. It is just generic tunnels and bases. Suddenly, it is a medical ward. The funny thing is, soldiers just outside of their hospital is struggling to control xeno infestation.

Spiters were great when they stayed on the walls. Firing from afar, being immediately visible, quickly dashing away. Once they got on the ground, they lost all their charm.

Haha, they planted those blind aliens so poorly. You had to cut through door and then go to talk with your squadmate. A natural story progression which attracts those blind aliens and they suicide on your squadmate talking while being next to you. Game designer had a brain fart here desperately trying to make this section scary.

Almost as much thought as they put in tying you up and forcing that awful sewer section. The only thing I liked is a big alien and lighting they had done it when it was behind you.

I remember being bitterly disappointed with this game when it came out. Watching this all these years later however, it looks much better than I recall.. it actually looks super fun and the graphics look very decent!
