It almost felt inevitable. Once he came back to beat Keymer, there was basically no chance he would lose. The only thing more dangerous at a chessboard than Magnus is a fully focused and determined Magnus. Gukesh, Abasov and Praggnanandhaa basically had no chance, so the fact that Praggnanandhaa got it to tiebreaks is impressive. None of them should feel bad or discouraged. They just ran into a buzz saw.

Here comes Pragg... Nepo and Ding should be ready or else :)

My theory was that Magnus plays only gentile non-American cheaters (like Magnus who is a gentile non-American cheater) but Magnus plays Nijat whom I guess is Jewish since supposedly top players of former Soviet Union are Jewish.

So either

1 - Magnus hates only American cheaters.

2 - Magnus is a liar.

I've never been a huge Magnus fan, however, he is by miles the best player of his era and arguably - with a strong argument - the best ever. Congrats to this incredible player! Hope he eventually comes back to the World Chess Championship to beat the record of six world championship wins.
