One of the dimensions Ciri travels to is Cyberpunk 2077 (seriously, she talks about it in-game to Geralt in TW3).

I'm so happy about this review. I was hesitant with others as they mostly mentioned spoiler of the third game. You did an awesome job of summarizing the the story without spoiling anything from the Wild Hunt game.

And as this guy says at least 60% of the game hasn't been covered by what I said or what he said so that way there's a bunch of stuff in storyline and side quests for you to discover.

Siri manages to escape on a boat and the writer of the witcher's novels considers the game non-cannon.

This causes a inner struggle inside Gerald you see witchers are taught trained and kind of brainwashed to always remain neutral they become the advisor to Kings because of their neutrality which is highly sought after for Kings because if you're neutral that means your neither on their side or anyone else's side therefore you're the only one they could talk to about all the b***** they have to go through therefore actually helping the Kings by being the advisor / counselor / psychiatrist etc etc etc etc.

After geralt finally manages to shake off the wild Hunt for a little while he bears witness to persecutions to elves and dwarves X-Men mutant style persecution.

The wild Hunt start going after Siri because they received a prophecy that she would gain Powers abilities to cross dimensions see the wild Hunt can't choose the dimension they go into when they cross dimensions besides the one the elves live in basically it's a game of ping pong but the ball is the elven slave master dimension and what the wild Hunt want to do is to go anywhere collect a bunch of s*** and then come back to the elven slave masters because they're well they're slaves they're down souls that are forced to do their will and can take physical forms and do bunch of other b***** thanks to the magic.

Sometimes towards the end which is actually like the middle of geralt's journey a bunch of things comes from The ether of a fog or something in their spiritual or spectral form the wild Hunt which is extremely powerful enchanted enslaved spirits they're enslaved by some elven mages from another reality that scours the multiverse for potential enemies to kill and slaves to capture something something evil into dimensional Captain Hook type characters but replace pirates with undead Danny phantom style but evil Black knights.

That girl's name is Siri there's another Royal that's after her blood she runs away he doesn't manage to catch her but he manages to kill like 70% of the Court geralt is tracking her down and trying to foil that Royal 's dastardly downright bad plan something something intrigued something something political stuff something something.

Something about the mutagen and process has a 99.99% chance of death for females but only a 60% chance death for males so geralt does not want to chance the death of his apprentice / adopted daughter (for now cuz he doesn't realize that she's royalty)

It's 1989 in that video game world of the Witcher and he has to rescue a princess that thanks to the inbreeding process that the king did unknowingly and a bunch of dark magic curses that hit and caused a reverberating echo chamber effect with the curses because of the inbreeding from the princess cause the princess to turn into some sort of part vampire part werewolf part goblin thing mostly from Slavic fantasy lore and again Gerald is trying to save her.

Long story short witchers are fantasy version of Spartans from the Halo games they are genetically enhanced warriors given the best possible armor and a hideout Castle fortress for each of their schools in those schools they have some cross training where they have surprise guests and stuff from other schools and sometimes certain schools can only teach certain skills that generally all the witchers have like a basic training so they go mix and match until they reach certain level of certain point in which they Branch out into and stay inside of their Pacific school to learn advance and super advanced skills now witchers can also use specifically designed potion that are technically not potions it's more like triggers for the biologically implanted functions but they also acts like the fuel for the biologically implanted functions AKA a Witcher won't mutate into a vampire using blood as a fuel source it is encoded into their DNA that they need a specific mixture of alchemical tea like substance to activate and fuel their mutations.

weird of me to comment on an 8 year old video, but having now replayed the game after actually learning a bit more about the universe... it's much better with that background knowledge. there isn't really enough exposition in the game itself to really give new players enough context to properly understand or care about the geopolitics, to say nothing of specific characters and their relationships.

You got a few things wrong. 1 of which you Geralt did not know that the child of Pavetta was a girl. He refused the child because he didn't want to subject the child to the life of a witcher. He didn't want the child to prove that destiny had no sway on him. In the books for this talk with Calanthi he refers to the child as the son of pavetta and boy.
