Offer .... Would you like to review a lotus evora? It is in Manchester. If so pm me.
ОтветитьI have one, bought it when I new driver wiped out my Cayman.
Love both. The jag is far more comfortable but the dynamic button really does transform the driving, far more noticeable than the sport button in the cayman.
Took a lot longer to get used to driving an auto sports car (Jag) but now I really love it. I think it pops the post looks wise on the cayman but just by a nose.
If you have either you are blessed, enjoy it people🙏👍
The next option if you can't afford an Aston Martin 😂
ОтветитьGood to hear you making positive comments on jaguar, great car😊
ОтветитьEverybody has their own opinion but mine is that the F-type looks good from every angle particularly the back.Especially with the hardtop . Unfortunately the front end face lifts over the past few years have taken away from its fierceness .
ОтветитьIf your going to buy a Jaguar F Type buy the early models. The early ones look like the in the E Type with aggressive looks. From the 2016 on they look more like an Aston Martin. I find this very disappointing as it’s going away from the E Type links. Buy the true Jaguar as it’s the best.
ОтветитьGorgeous car.
ОтветитьGreat review and video. I have owned a 2014 F-Type V8S convertible for the past 4 years as my daily driver. 70,000 miles and no issues, serviced every year and Shell V Power as you suggest. It is undoubtedly the best car I have owned in 45+ years of driving, including several other Jaguars. I have previously owned an X100 and X150 XKR convertible, both fine cars but the F-Type knocks them out of the park.
ОтветитьSo this or boxter mate?
ОтветитьI think these type of cars are never as nice in convertible models. Coupe looks much nicer.
I cant believe you can get these for under 30k now.
A more sensible buy than a 2006 v8 vantage? 😅
Looking at buying one of thease but a coupe not a conv
ОтветитьProject 7 rather than 8.
ОтветитьXKR or Ftype R…. Which looks better?!
ОтветитьOmg you referenced Alex Mack. I am showing my age
ОтветитьI've had my beautiful V6S convertible for ten years, great car for driver. Grab handle for passenger. I use it every day, long and short journeys. Looking at 75th edition AWD to replace it.
Won't have a word said against my F Type.
I thought I was the only person who thinks that F-type is not as good-looking in -person as in pictures. So I'm quite glad to hear that someone agrees with me. I think the rear of the car just ends too suddenly (and too sharply) which makes it look a bit "cheap" from certain angles, as if they were trying to save production cost by introducing straight lines. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of simplistic designs and flowing lines but on this sort of a car, I was expecting something a little bit more stylish. The car is not bad-looking, but is just not as good as it can be.
ОтветитьLove them especially the coupe. Thanks for the review- you’ve convinced me to buy.
ОтветитьBiggest bang for your buck, Super fun, Sounds amazing,
ОтветитьAre you inhaling helium?
ОтветитьYes style is subjective, I like its small size not trying to be a grand touring car like the XK. The coupe definitely looks better than the rag top but that is true of most cars. Comparing it to a Boxster my reaction is that the Boxster looks the same coming or going and will not get the attention the rarer F-Type will.
ОтветитьAlways loved the Jag. F type. It was my logical NEXT choice after having a ‘98 Lotus Esprit(😍), but settled for a ‘10 Jag. XKR; the 500+H.P. & the typical Jag. Luxury is what sold me…….just turned 80yrs🥴…….yahoo!!
ОтветитьI have had two and as for not big enough?? what on on earth are you smoking, enzo called it one of the most beuatiful cars made. its iconic, fast and only for those who can afford it not for those who talk alot.
Ответитьthe grab handle is a homage to the letter J as are the front lights the options like most cars have to be paid for and depending on your needs
ОтветитьJust wanted to add that the v6 ones can have awd too check auto trader
ОтветитьI had the V6 here in sunny California and absolutely loved it. I just wish it was the V8 model.
ОтветитьIve been in my pals FType R and i understand the reason for the grab handle lol.
ОтветитьThe coupe is waaaaaay cooler than the cabriolet one, isn’t it?
ОтветитьLook at all the faults that people have with them now LIke water in engine bay causing wiring faults "Normal jag then" And injectors seizing in head because water traps Plus lots more
ОтветитьThe soft top is ugly, the hardtop just looks perfect and the rear end very EType. It's a mini Ferrari 599 in all but name and a few cylinders, but the one I'd have.
ОтветитьRare to hear anyone complaining that a car is too small?! The original E-Type was tiny so, in that respect, this is a much better successor than the monsters that are other Jag products. I have a 987 Boxster and I do really fancy an F-Type - maybe one day, too expensive right now.
ОтветитьNothing in the price point of any F TYPE, can match it.
After the E TYPE, no jaguar ever came close to looking as good, but I’d go so far as to say, the F type is even better looking.
J
ОтветитьStunning car. But in this form you’d be a total moron not to buy a Porsche, Lotus, Z Miata, and a host of others. Not spend that much on a junk Indian automobile.
ОтветитьThe boot space is hopeless
ОтветитьI already know where this analysis is going. Start off with the complaining and then, "but that's not what it's about, this car is for driving, not the looks." And then he finds himself loving the car for the performance. Tell me if I'm right 😅
ОтветитьReally good video,Matt, and made my mind up on getting v6s next year. Ps,do you want a 850 Commando and a xfs sportbrake?!
ОтветитьI have a soft spot for Jaguars (I have own 2 of them)- but they are the 5th worst reliable manufacturer according to reports. The main issue is their poor diesel Euro 6 engines. They are awful- oil dilution is a major issue- which causes the crankshaft to break. Then there is the issue of the later cars being easily able to be stolen - and this drove up insurance costs. Also with the F Type V6 RWD- the injectors can rust- due to the placement of the air vents in the bonnets. The AWD ones do not have this issue as the vents are further away. I won't be buying another one, just too much grief.
ОтветитьDavid Beckham?
ОтветитьYou’ve got no taste if you think the rear isn’t beautiful 🤡
ОтветитьDid buy a 63 plate FType convertible and love it. Was av 45 coming home from Coventry and over a few wks av 34 local driving on mostly b roads and towns. Comfortable, angry exhaust when overtaking but quiet and smooth when cruising. 80k but does'nt feel like it. Feels like a train on rails and no sticky buttons like xfs sportbrake.
ОтветитьMine give a rush every time I drive
ОтветитьRewatching this Matt, getting your viewing figures up. Just love this car. 👌👏
Ответитьyep, back looks wrong - should b more E Type to go with curvy front
ОтветитьStyling is subjective. But this is my ultimate used buy. For me the proportions are perfect. And timeless.
ОтветитьAfter their rebranding campaign ...maybe you shouldn't😂😂😂.. seems the history and legacy matter no more to them
ОтветитьNo heated seats!? Instantly cancelled
ОтветитьIt’s ok, I’ve always thought they look too small and slightly short from the side. I would take an xkr over this any day 👍
ОтветитьYou’re right about the looks. Back end is a proper dogs dinner and has actually put me off considering one.
