Let me explain - this is a trend with modern guitar players and I blame the internet 🛜

You know when you go to the mall and see a couple wearing all designer clothes that do not match yet is looking to stand out and be seen ? coach bags, with Prada glasses, then Gucci jackets with armmone shoes Yet there is a another guy wearing Levi jeans and a Hanes t shirt and looks comfortable at all times because it all goes together

That’s the comparison and I hate to say it here - there are these “designer guitar players” where you can here other artists licks played so well in order to stand out yet does not feel natural like them selves or their own style ? you get me ? I can hear at each moment the artist that has been selected for each part and it is taking me out of the experience.

Example - oh that is John Mayer , oh that part is SRV … etc… very jarring

Needs to be a touch of those designer clothes yet fashioned all the same with your own style and comfortabily that leads to your own “brand “

I'm old and usually hate today's music. But songs like this make me feel good for the future generations. Not all you young cats have been brainwashed and are keeping real music alive.

Its biggest ability was to electronically mimic the human voice.
I am not hearing that here.
What I Hear are cool sounds, but no lyric.
Disregard me if you will.
I feel that a talkbox, should include talking.
