Interesting, each exercise has a targeted muscle it's trying to train.

ОтветитьI'd follow your routine most a time I get tensed hiring high note what do I do
ОтветитьSounds nasal to me.
ОтветитьThis is Seth Riggs technique, Speech-level singing.
ОтветитьOpera singers could teach you a lot about singing, chum.
ОтветитьIsn't it easier to say "resonators" and "phonators"?
ОтветитьHey, I tried your #5 muh exercise a bit differently, alternating guh, muh, guh, muh, guh, muh, etc. Interesting to listen to any differences in nasality that occur with that. Also: subscribed. Tx. Not too much theory and a lot of good practice. I guess I do know some theory, though, so when you said a five-tone scale, I thought you meant a pentatonic scale. But you meant the first five notes of a (diatonic) scale, ie the most common scale people intuitively know. And the other thing was an arpeggio - word I would have thought any music student knows, but... maybe you've intentionally targeted people who wouldn't know pentatonic/diatonic/arpeggio and such. Interesting.
Ответитьthis is sick but im shook bc my name is mac ramsay lmao
Ответитьhey Ramsey how many vocal training exercises should you do day? on top of practices singing. I'm trying to balance them both. it seem I'm over working them in vocal training. I vocal train 5 days a week. due to needing the practice.
ОтветитьI can't fix my voice cause if I do quiet voice it does sound crack or bad.. when I try to sound louder it has crack and goofy sound.
ОтветитьHi Ramsey this video helped me a lot thank you. I wondered if you could do a video for how to find our own vocal style.
ОтветитьMy favorite vocal tones range from deep and soulful (Kim Taehyung, Jennie Kim) to light and angelic (Jung Wooyoung, Choi San). I've always called this vocal color though.
ОтветитьThis channel deserves 1M subs
ОтветитьWould you make a video for us to sing I'm your favorite song make sure it's no bad words in it though
ОтветитьI am sadly not a good singer, but I love to sing.
I have tried Zakk Wylde, Seal, Frozen 2, Sia, and Kate Bush worlds in voice. It is pure fun, though pain for ears.
Actually my head voice becomes breathy at times without me intending to do that
How to improve this
I would love to see an exercise improving tone for 1st sopranos within the range of A5 to E6?
My voice was really clear until I had a couple year bout with bronchitis. My voice has a slight haze now.
Thank you for all your helpful information!
Breathyness and whispering can be used to convey the emotion of the song. Reference Laura Fabian's Je Suis Malade.
ОтветитьEar training for identification notes
ОтветитьGreat Video. Seth Riggs was the master at this ;)
Ответитьthanks for the video but i have a request, can you make a vid specifically on how to improve belting tone?
ОтветитьI can sing c2-F5 but it all sounds terrible 😢 😂
ОтветитьI stumbled upon your video channel and, out of curiosity, I decided to watch some of your voice lessons.
Sadly you have no idea how to sing, let alone how to teach others.
subbed....I want to learn more!
ОтветитьYeah me too. I'm 66 and my singing voice hasn't been used in years. You have helped me in 1 week since my interest to play and sing has ignited again. Thanku friend. Well done.. also how about the key. Does that make a difference. Cheers
ОтветитьIt’s my neighbors I worry about 😂
ОтветитьI got “rejected” by a producer, but they gave me some tips. Hope this will help
ОтветитьI was told recently by a vocal coach with 30 years experience out on smule that i hava an AWESOME vocal tone. Didn’t even onkw what that meant now i do! And thank you! Excellent instruction going to be using jt
ОтветитьBlah blah blah, get to the point. Dislike
ОтветитьMy voice just sounds depressing :_)
ОтветитьLoved your video! Can you do a video on how to improve the Whistle Register?
Ответитьdo vocal exercises translate to singing an actual song? No they don't.
Ответитьcan i sing bruh instead of buh? i think it sounds better
ОтветитьThis is great for achieving speech level tone, good for theater, and maybe rock- but I’m wondering what it is popstars like Amy Winehouse, Adele, Lana Del Rey, are doing. There is something else they do with their registration. Maybe it’s a little artificial but it makes the voice sound unique and extra beautiful. And I can never tell if it’s a depressed tongue or a raised soft palate, or what it is they’re doing but they tend to get their tone in a very very specific sweet spot, and I’d like to learn how.
ОтветитьGod bless this man
ОтветитьAre those images and diagrams from the master your voice course?
ОтветитьHi Ramsey - I'm a singing teacher and I love your videos!
They've really helped me find easy ways to explain tricky concepts to my students, thanks so much! x
I really struggled with tone. I could stay on pitch, but my tone has always sucked.
ОтветитьGoal is to do this every day. We can be the singers we want to be … and more. We just need to train! And fully commit. Thanks so much. Wonderfully helpful. Inspired by how my tone is already improving and sounding abs feeling more natural !!!
