Nice video ❤
ОтветитьI'm interviewing for a record label as a producer, this was the EXACT exercise I was gonna do (look at music videos & try to break down their budgets), this video helped a LOT.
Thanks so much <3
That's pretty good!!!!!
ОтветитьFor anybody watching in Australia, our crew rates are literally double (and some), even for music video work lol
Ответить2k
ОтветитьMy video was $300 for film & edit … he did take a while to get it back to me & didn’t make me part of the process to get the scenes I wanted…. However it turned out amazing & I was overall happy with it. I took care of location, model fee etc
ОтветитьMan it’s so expensive to make a music video as an independent artist
Ответитьnobody should be doing any videos for $500 wtf! terrible

ОтветитьHow do I contact Moses do shoot a video for one of my songs ?

Ответить$500 is still to expensive when everyone can make one with their iphone for free.
ОтветитьFavors are great, but nobody is going to work for free unless they are young/inexperienced and looking to gain experience. This will make the quality suffer. Working for free is more common on a short film passion project, not a music video with actual access to money.
This producer is horrible. He isn't budgeting for any fringes, misc, etc. costs that will be incurred. The sprinter van for $50? That makes no sense unless he's asking a really good friend to borrow one for the day and he won't put any gas in it. He adds nothing for prep, unless he's picking up everything himself.
I have been hearing horror stories of how amazing creatives like directors get paid almost zero to do such amazing pieces of art that helps artists get millions of views (and sell festival tickets, downloads, and millions for labels). Directors and other music video professional need to unionize like the DGA to make sure everyone gets fairly compensated when working with artists signed to major labels.
ОтветитьGreat video guys!!.. I’m actually shooting a music video in 2 weeks here in Florida, my camera man is charging me $1200 bucks to shoot, edit, direct, I’m paying 2 girls that went to high school with me ( amateur Instagram models) $250 dollars each for 2-4 hours, (depends on if there photogenic or not) could take 2 hours or 6 so it could be 125 a hour or 60 a hour, and I’m paying $500 for my friends friend to let me barrow their house with a pool without a pool cage, the other scenes and locations are 1- my sisters back yard (she has 1 acre) and 2- my jewelry lady is letting me shoot in her shop and use her money counting machine for free, since I’ve been giving her clients since I was 17, I’m 31 now, and my friends are going to be my extras (they have 2021 tahoes, trucks, lowriders, suvs with 26 inch rims, we all have permits for are guns 💪 and it’s bring your own beer and I have my cousin recording with his camera for behind the scenes, all together it’s costing me 2200, I have 3 outfits I’m going to wear since I always go thrift shopping and buy polo, Tommy, coogi, I’ll get back to this comment and show y’all how it came out, hope y’all see this comment,
ОтветитьYour videos are so useful!! Thank you for always sharing 🙏🏽🙏🏽
ОтветитьI see calls for music videos all the time and they NEVER pay actors.
Ответитьthis producer is such a money waster to me, hire the guy to get ripped off
