Great advice but WN Gann timed the markets again and again and it's all documented 😊

I used to believe that the stock market was primarily a game for the wealthy, influenced by the lessons of my grandparents who suffered significant losses in the past and emphasized this notion. However, I've been around long enough to experience firsthand how lucrative it can be. Especially in times like these, with inflation at 6.1%, one might consider the circumstances desperate. Nevertheless, I firmly believe that no market condition is insurmountable for a skilled financial advisor, especially those who have weathered the storm since the 2008 crisis and even earlier.

I hear sage advice on accumulating wealth through investing regularly in Index Funds. I would like to use these investment returns when I still have some juice left in me. My advice is grow your wealth and enjoy it when you retire. Don’t just leave it there.

Great recession was good time to sell, then $ cost average back in.

Nobody wants to retire when they are 80. This old school advice is great for an absolute beginner who doesnt want to learn. For anyone else it’s terrible as you will barely beat inflation .

Wow. Retire when your 80? Then who’s going to live long enough to enjoy the money that they have accumulated that long all the way up to that age? 😂😂😂

100% VTI first job right out of college and then add BND at age 30 in my opinion. Base your stock\bond asset allocation on whatever allocation you can tolerate. The old thinking was 100 minus your age so that would be 70% VTI 30% BND at age 40 however I like 120 minus your age for your equity portion a bit better.

Simple boring advice but the very best advice in the financial world. It's a shame more people don't grasp it.

I truly love the 'old timers'. No games, just good old fashioned time and work. Common sense.
