Wait until he finds out chatgpt makes these in 1 minute
ОтветитьI love crossword puzzles and have always wanted to create them. Yours is the first video that bring clarity to the process!!!!
ОтветитьHe & Will Shortz are the coolest nerds of all time.
ОтветитьSome weird words coming down.
What does FMAJ mean?
What does ENC mean or UVEAS or RELO or ODELL or ALA or ASPREE or POLEAX or YAN or ALA or HBS?
Here in the U.K. I think the editor would get some letters. 😆
I am totally creating a crossword puzzle section in the student newspaper! Answers will be in the following issues!
ОтветитьAmerican style crosswords are so dumb. Nothing puzzling about these
ОтветитьWhy can't El Paso be a clue if he already has "ones" in the grid?
ОтветитьI love this guy!
ОтветитьI need a crossword designer
@everyone
but most Crossword Puzzles are created automatically by algorithms right?
ОтветитьWhy not a Crosswordsmith?
ОтветитьUse our platform PuzzleMe to create crosswords (and other puzzles!)
ОтветитьI've tried making a crossword puzzle. Tried.
Ответить2023 Feb 1
ОтветитьHe has a pin on his right which changes 7 times. It spells out OIDMDNA troughout the video, which is an anagram for DIAMOND.
ОтветитьYou make it look WAY too easy.
ОтветитьI am here to say that I don't care
ОтветитьThis guy is such a magician
ОтветитьIs this dude really constructing by hand? What in the Merl Reagle??
ОтветитьWhat does leb even mean
ОтветитьThis guy never explains why rotational symmetry is desirable or why he would hide additional words in the crossword puzzle. It seems like an attempt to make the task more interesting than it is. I feel like the point of the crosswords is the clues, not the arrangement of the answers. Ultimately it's not a very interesting type of puzzle.
ОтветитьIt's funny how he said a good puzzle should make the solver feel smart, because the majority of crosswords I've seen recently have just made me think "What the fork is that word? How the fork is anyone supposed to get that?.." Good to know that there's a random word generator for these things though, I guess..
ОтветитьThis is a science and artform simultaneously, fascinating.
ОтветитьI knew that the clue couldn't contain the word being clued, but I didn't know that the clue could not contain any word in the puzzle
ОтветитьWhen making a puzzle is a puzzle itself...
ОтветитьHuge respect to the guy. He is so cool. And he is really living the dream.
ОтветитьThat was fun and interesting.
Especially the theme thing: we don't have that in Italy. Rotational symmetry is not required either. We do have Eno though. Lots and lots of Eno 😃
I can't imagine how someone enjoys doing this
ОтветитьSaying you are a Zac efron fan is like saying you are a potato bread fan
Ответитьrotational symmetry? the puzzles are symmetric along 2 diagonal lines
ОтветитьI thought the way to create a crossword was to have an AI program do it. You know, like everything else creative these days.
ОтветитьNever really cared for the craft of crosswords until I randomly tuned into a tik tok live of a guy doing NYT crosswords. I never knew so much creativity and genius went into creating a crossword puzzle. I was always stumped at the revelation of the long answer of each puzzle
ОтветитьChatGPT can generate thousands of crossword puzzles in a second now unfortunately for this guy.
ОтветитьStep one: draw a swasticka
Ответитьgreat! can you explain the swastika one?
ОтветитьAI is taking your job first.
ОтветитьThis is the third time I've watched this haha
ОтветитьNice I like the presentation everything and I didn't even think to check and see what you were doing behind the scenes because it's my first time now I will be watching but now I know how to make my own puzzles and I can be famous like will shorts
ОтветитьM ? ? ? ? F
ofc, Mizkif
‘This is the size of the daily puzzle in The NY Times…’ Um… that seems a bit large. 🤔
ОтветитьThis guy will get replaced by a computer program.
ОтветитьGotta love a “How To” video with a montage. What better way to educate then skipping steps and not showing the full process.
Ответитьthis guy is pure genius ! love the way he hid the puzzles in the video !
Ответитьawesome ending
ОтветитьWell son, your puzzle did not reach its goal, because it failed to make me feel smart.
ОтветитьWhat the f is up with this techno music as he’s speaking? Is that absolutely necessary?
ОтветитьGreat creativity and extras, David!!!
ОтветитьBots got you ten fold; hope the magic works out for you my man!
ОтветитьThe funny thing is that he thinks he's explaining lol
