PM Modi visits LK Advani on latter's 94th birthday

New Delhi: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today morning reached Prithviraj Road based bungalow of former Deputy Prime Minister Shri LK Advani to greet latter on his 94th birthday.

The Prime Minister visits Shri LK Advani every year on latter's birthday. Vice President of India Shri Venkaiah Naidu, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president JP Nadda were also present on this occasion.

Shri Advani's daughter Pratibha Advani and son Jayant were also present during the visit.

Shri Advani is founding member of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Party patriach had been BJP's national chief and country's Deputy Prime Minister. He was also the Prime Ministerial candidate of BJP in year 2009 Lok Sabha general elections. Shri Advani led the Ram Janmabhoomi agitation and had virtually become face of that movement which gave greater prominence to BJP in 1990s in national polity. Shri Advani's autobiographical book My Country My Life offers glimpses of recent political history of India.
