thanks for buying american sir!
ОтветитьAnyone know of a great fabricator in California? Have a 69 corvette convertible that was in an accident and has a noticeable bend and cracks in the chassis. Need something lighter and stronger but that will allow me to mount the same body, radiator, gas tank, etc without any modifications.
ОтветитьI would never buy metal from China. Purposely inferior. Even our military had a problem with China metal (Obama) and of course on purpose.
Ответить1020 steel is a good option to save money?
ОтветитьJust starting on your series and really enjoyed your str8 talk and information. Now to part 2
Ответитьdocol r8
ОтветитьChanel z I completely agree with you Donald r8 is far superior to chromolly even ndrc has sanction it for use in roll cages plu it can be mig welded very successfully
ОтветитьI would love to see a roll cage (safety cage) made from Chromoly and a cage from titanium in a strength test And any other tests that the race and associations allow for safety
ОтветитьIts hard to listen to the video when there is a stock pile of materials that is so amazing in the background, that has to be over 10,000 dollars in materials.
ОтветитьI am glad to see you do have aluminum in a aluminum c channel
ОтветитьI just keep watching these over and over. Thanks for the series.
ОтветитьMore details on the sonic checking like what is the standard?
ОтветитьHow much money do you think is setting there MR Tim
ОтветитьLol 4 minutes in and you reveal youre a racist..I'm fucking dying lol
ОтветитьSo what about mild steel, welded seam, DOM. Might want to touch on that for the neubs.
Ответитьdoes anybody build with mild steel anymore?
Ответить"some decent qualities that come from Germany and generally from Europe" what you mean decent? you ever heard of Tysenn Krupp Stahl? german and austrian steel is top steel in the world. we used some american steel and we had to replace it with russian steel because it was really bad. not even close to EU standards. after that we only use Tysenn Krupp
ОтветитьFinally someone who will explain this stuff.
Ответитьcountry of origin is not the issue, quality of material is. china produces whichever quality you want, it all depends on the reseller and price. plenty of material made domestically is also junk. this myth that everything coming from china is rubbish needs to be addressed. the basic reality is that if people continue to mass consume crap at an alarming rate, china will continue to mass produce crap at an alarming rate. the responsibility lies with you, the consumer, and with the disgustingly relentless marketing that drives the impossibility of endless market growth. responsibility does not lie with the manufacturer. it's a very simple equation: if you want china (and any other country, including the US) to stop producing crap, stop buying it.
Ответить"Only accept domestic tubing" - if only others were like minded and not on a race to the bottom. Top man.
ОтветитьWhat about Docol Tube R8 4130 tubing?
ОтветитьIf I was building a cheap copy of a 80s trans am race car/ road car. What tube thickness would I use for the frame to make it last forever with just street driving?
ОтветитьJust added the playlist. Thank you
ОтветитьWhat's the difference from steel piping? Perhaps the control on tolerances and metals?
ОтветитьAmericans and inches, damn you.
ОтветитьWhy do you not sell aluminum like you do 4130

ОтветитьHello, I know that’s these fab series are dedicated to drag racing pro stock or pro mods but I was wondering if this shop does any work on Road Racing AWD tube Chassis Cars. I want a chassi built for a Time Attack SCCA/WTA series’s Car such as a WRX STI, EVO or Celica GT4. Please help thank you and btw great videos and products 😊
Ответить4130 Chinesium tubing
Chinesium - An element not found on the periodic table. A crappy metal, plastic, or chemical substance made in China in the manufacture of many Chinese exports. Exposure is imminent in one’s lifetime and may strike with or without warning.
Chinesium can display a variety of unique properties and is found in abundance. With exposure side effects vary greatly depending on the user. If you experience any of the following symptoms, you may be at risk and should seek a dumpster or a certified R2 recycling facility immediately.
Side effects include: Annoyance, fear, loss of sleep, burning sensation, loss of revenue, reduced net worth, poor conductivity or connectivity, high resistance, ridicule by peers, loss of limb, or death.
Always use personal safety equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, and respiratory protection when handling Chinesium.
If you have direct contact with Chinesium, STOP, DROP, AND ROLL.
Should you find Chinesium and are unsure of what to do: STOP, DON’T TOUCH, CALL AN ADULT.
I would like to order online some Chromoly tubing for a homade roll bar truck project what wall thickness, and tubing measurements would you recommend?
ОтветитьThe true reason for random length is that when its drawn over the mandrel it can walk around on the operator so the good part of the tube gets cut out of runs
ОтветитьThank you for supporting me and my family I work at newcor plymouth utah I make that dom tubing 50 hrs a week (theres a slight chance I made that tube your showing us) 😁 I can promise you nothing leaves our mill without atleast 2 quality checks and its certified
ОтветитьTom McAnus???!?? Yup that's what I heard
ОтветитьI only deal with USA manufacturers earned you a thumbs up!
ОтветитьGreat Tim buys domestic. My brother, tool/die maker 40 yrs, says the same thing. USA is best but expensive. German steel not far behind. Russian, Indian or wherever is crap.
ОтветитьMaking and keeping America Great. Made in the USA 🇺🇸
Ответить975th 👍's up tim thanks for taking the time for us all
ОтветитьTim really love your videos. Thank you for not having a bunch of unnecessary music playing while your speaking. Not have shity music playing helps you focus on the valuable information your are giving. Great job sir 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
ОтветитьDo you sale DOM tubing or is it mainly Moly and Titanium?
Ответить"Chinese Shiiiit."
Ответитьhi
what kind of steel are the tubes?
Made in the USA !
ОтветитьGreat information! Thanks!
Ответитьthank you for your information
ОтветитьWhy Chinese manufactured products are shit?
ОтветитьHow much is one of those tubes worth? Are they expensive?
ОтветитьGreat video ... still cant get over how Americans say tubing and aluminium lol
Ответитьworking a rolling mill in the aerospace and titanium industry, I thank you for the domestic only materials. Anyone who breaks away and buys over seas ends up coming back. You get what you pay for
Ответить
