ОтветитьI took this course and my final test was to make it across the room with two men trying to prevent me. Truthfully I barely made it, as a female I'm not very strong. Use bottom barrel techniques barf, pee, poke eyes, act crazy. No one likes to mess with crazy. You feel eyes on you act a fool and let them target someone else

Ответитьthis is one of the fist self defense videos i can respect. some good advice for sure but this is only a few minutes. The best thing to know is to be defensive, small rapid movements, cause pain, and get creative.
maybe learn how to defend against this style too. basically if you see them do something that gives you an opportunity you need to learn to not make that mistake yourself also learn how to bait people into being sloppy would be good too
also don't discriminate on who you use it against. if you know you are stronger don't be nice and hold back, i say this for 2 reasons 1 you might be wrong lmao they might win if you underestimate them 2 they will make good practice for when a more serious threat approaches
last the size of your opponent matters, do not think that any 1 technique will do all the work. if you think you need to bulk up then bulk up (short people can win as long as you got some muscle and you play to your advantages)
Everything is possible at ultra slow motion. I would like to see that technique used against Mike Tyson or a professional fighter-ridiculous!! Only an expert could have any success with this technique. It's much better for "regular" folks to deliver a side kick to your opponents leg around the knee, and then run like Hell.

ОтветитьLearn how to strike, learn the target points on a body, and learn combat flanking movements. Attack with explosive surprise, fast, and hard. Never let up until the opponent/s are finished or you are gone from there. Always know your escape rout before you start.
The rest is BS for them to keep you paying for lessons.
I call bull shit, if that shit worked boxers would do it. in a real deal fight most couldn't do this..

ОтветитьIf you don't think those exact mentalities and movements are covered by martial arts training, you have never been in real martial arts training. Every block taught in martial arts training is meant to injure the opponents attacking arm, hand, leg, or foot. Like someone else said, muscle memory is important, but can't be achieved without constant practice. There is nothing wrong with the movement, although there is nothing new in it... it's the lie, that it can be done with limited practice. If you practice these mentalities enough to work, you are training in martial arts, and will be in better shape because of it. Problem... just like everyone's home gym that acts as a clothes hanger, most people won't be vigilant and need a trainer to drive them to train. Also, an expert to see and help you fix mistakes is vital. Being that this video is designed for novices... I thought these facts were relevant. We would all love to learn like Neo in the Matrix, but only some sort of constant training can achieve that. Pick a school that fits you, and train. If the RAT is your choice, that is fine, but it must be practiced religiously, or It won't work the way you are hoping.

Ответить99% of street fights end up on the ground. Seals and SF guys are armed. That’s how they deal with attackers. Get a concealed carry permit and learn to use your carry gun. Just drawing a gun will discourage most attackers.

Why would anyone attack a small, tough, moving target with striking, that's lunacy. If you have some sort of weird hand-attacking fetish, save it for grappling!(for real) 😂

ОтветитьWhen the opponent leads with a leg or groin strike, that "window" is going to be utterly useless.
Good luck landing any of this in real time, too. You're not going to be pinpointing nerves, you'll be flailing at skin, muscle, and bone like the rest of us. Attacking the hands is a good strategy, though. Works great for primates, after all.
