I actually don’t care about loosing weight quickly. I want to be fit overall and its figuring out the best balanced lifestyle that keeps you set for life. Its actually tricky with all the different stuff out there today. My current routine is breathwork, yoga, martial arts, boxing,Tennis,swimming/diving, walking, and weight training. And btw non of it is that intense. Its light work, but its consistent. Usually people think its a lot, but even Gilian here mentioned them with the low intensity, hiking as well. In terms of diet, I do a lot of fasting and organic food health fats like raw salmons and avocados, natural coconut water for electrolytes. I also do sauna and cold therapy and lympathic massages for body conditioning. However, I damaged my metabolism over the years, that sometime my body will hold on to the fat in a very stubborn way. Currently I am still trying to find better weight lifting and cardio regimes and having ideal lifestyle in order to prep myself when you dont have the luxury of a personal chef or access to instant pricy organic stuff all the time. Eventually I plan to harvest from my farm. I followed Gillian from wayyyy back in the day and she has evolved over the years unlike others which makes her special.I am also happy to see she likes Whim Hof. I remember her old 30 day shred program was one of the most intense ever. I may do that again.

Ответитьcalories is a lie.. you do not get fat from calories.. you get fat from intake of things we should not consume.. seed oils, artificial sweeteners, processed food.

Jillian, what is hungry telling your body? Other then your hungry when your in a healthy caloric intake for your object such as 1500 calories, yet your body still feels hungry. Will this effect your metabolism? If so how? Thanks for your time and knowledge.

I had the experience In a bad way were unintentionally I lost alot of weight in a short period of time and its was great I was slimmer and in smaller clothes..BUT I also had horrible pale white saggy skin..
So this time I was my choice and slow and steady to give my body time to adjust to get smaller...
What about people with disabilities who are limited in their ability to exercise?

ОтветитьThis year I decided to get back into my pre-covid shape. I'm a 56 year old male. The way I approached it was as follows. Basically I keep my daily calorie intake at no more than 2000. And I spend 3 days a week at the gym (2.5hrs per). A mix of 30 minutes of high intensity cardio, 90 minutes of weights, and 30 minutes of walking interspersed between exercises. My goal is between 3000-3500 calories burned per day.
I've read some meta studies that indicate the maximum number of fat calories that someone can burn without burning muscle is 31 calories per pound of body fat. So as I've started losing weight, I've started increasing calorie intake slightly to reduce the calorie deficit, primarily by adding more protein to my diet.

ОтветитьI lost 55 pounds in 9 months. It's been three months and have lost nothing. My diet is the same I haven't changed anything.
I lift weights in weight room 3 days upper body MWF and 3 days lower body T Th Sa an hour per session. I do an hour on elliptical 3 days a week T Th Sa and take 1hour class silver sneakers weight and cardio class MWF. The only thing I am doing differently is pickleball and I didn't join for the workout I love playing. Can you explain why I am no longer losing weight. I am getting really discouraged and have thought about quitting the weight loss journey.

ОтветитьI looove walking. I use to looove lifting weights. Now I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and some days I hurt so bad I just cant handle the extra joint pain for thr next three days. I may start doing hands weights anyway and a weighted vest and just push through the pain like I always do 😁 anyway you are a sweetheart ty for the info🤗😘🌹💞 Gorgeous babies you have🌞

I can drop 10lbs easily, just by not eating much. however, when I do, I've noticed it's muscle I lose and I still have that stubborn fat. So dropping 2 lbs /week for me is too fast. So that's what I'm working on right now.. 5 lbs really slowly. I am figuring if I lose 5 lbs slowly it will be 5lbs of fat, and that's all i will need to lose.

Best weight loss advice I’ve ever gotten was from Jordan Syatt. No bull, real stuff. I post 25 lbs of postpartum weight over the course of 6 months with that advice and kept it off till I got pregnant with my next baby. I was in even better shape postpartum with that advice than ever in my life. 125 lbs. I didn’t give myself a deadline, just counted calories and worked out more. Weekend cheat days helped a lot and made it super sustainable. So easy.
