Wow such a wild ride .
ОтветитьNow THIS is sailing at it's best. Thank you for showing the "Actual daily ocean crossing".
ОтветитьGood luck my friends, god bless. ❤😊🌏👍
ОтветитьWhat a wonderful video that narrates a fantastic journey across the challenging tasman sea. Certainly a experience to cherish and a archivement worth retelling.
ОтветитьBeautiful editing/camera angles on this one. Especially with the wind howling. Ive been watching delos for 10 years and rarely do they give you that... Feel. Good job!
ОтветитьThat was mesmerising Thanks for making a great production.
ОтветитьThank you, very enjoyable. Tasman sea yikes. As a Nz born of 67 years, it's very heart warming watching people, approaching these Islands. Allison, the fear you expressed on day 7-8 is so real. It stopped me from ever doing another open sea passage. Being on a 51' Gangly going to Fiji, I saw my brother completely covered by waves, in the cockpit, of that pretty big boat. I thought I was going to die out there, Nah, not for me. The desire to return is still there, but watching this makes it all so real..Thanks once again.
ОтветитьAwesome trip.😊
ОтветитьOne of the best I have seen
ОтветитьSeems like that’s a very capable sailboat. Those are some really rough conditions and the boat is handling them very well. Must have a really stout autopilot because the autopilots on the other boats I’ve watched are not strong enough to maintain course in thea years seas. Some use that additional mechanical autopilot with its own rudder, but if this boat is equipped with one, I didn’t notice it.
ОтветитьAwesomely a good watch❤
ОтветитьBack in 1977 I bought a new Challenger 35 Ketch And sailed and lived on her, on Lake Ontario, NY, Canada, with my wife and boys 11 & 7 years old, from April 1st till November 1st every year until 1974 when I sold her and moved to florida. In the begining I had a slip mate with a brand new Shannon 37 Ketch rid readied to cruise the world, which he did for the next several years. she was a magnificent craft outfitted to the teeth even with boarding protection such as electrified deck wires and multiple hugely strong soplight hung from the spreaders. He made it around every continent on the globe and back. mJust thought that you might like to know. Just him and wife with an occassional passenger or two.
ОтветитьTotally enjoyed sailing across the ocean with you. It was a beautiful trip. Thanks for giving me a birth. Sailing across an ocean. A dream come true.
ОтветитьBest voyage and editing and also music , so nice so that even I’m thinking about sailing now …….an aviator _
ОтветитьJames you were born to do this just loved watching you do your thing loved your reports. Alison what an absolute beauty you are very stunning. However you showed your human side and vulnerability that tough night but you bounced back loved your birthday and that shot landing in NZ. Loved the olds thought they fitted in so well.
ОтветитьAmazing 👍
Ответитьja bahasa nja nupake yau, bisa bahasa bare'e kah"??
ОтветитьThese obstacles makes sailing the ultimate love & joy. Thanks for whoever invented the auto pilot. Nice trip, it must’ve been lovely experience. Well done.
ОтветитьThank you for your video. All the best from BC, Canada 🇨🇦
ОтветитьBrilliant video, thank you very much for sharing your life for 15 days with us landlubbers😂
ОтветитьMassively underrated sailboat. very soild vessels
Ответить35 knots gusts without lifevests on?! Hmmm…
ОтветитьI love my Shannon 38
Ответитьwhat a great video ..thank you for sharing ... I noticed you have my Starbucks travel mug on your ship :)
ОтветитьWalter Shultz of Shannon Yachts would be proud to see one of his boats this far from where it was made. Well done!
ОтветитьAmazing prose , editing and a huge step up ! You two are awesome !!
ОтветитьFirst time i watch a video like this bringing me from Australia to New-Zealand.
I would not do it, still, its very impressive what you have been going through.
That was a gorgeous production. So engaging to luxuriate in that many back to back chapters. All four of you engage so cooperatively & effectively leaving me more embracing of us 2 legged kine. You shared so much reality, so gracefully, without undue fanfare, no aspect of phony glamour, ie- such as the Vagabond crew..sophisticated, loving, articulate, beautifully filmed, stunning yacht below above🎈
ОтветитьIm watching from Phillipines! Wow!! It was so exciting and very scary!! All of you are very brave pls. keep safe
ОтветитьCircumnavigate Antartica!!
ОтветитьI have watched this over and over and it’s one of the best sailing films that I have ever seen!Very real and showing everything the way it really happened.Lots of action and the good and the bad all together nothing left out.The big blue waves and rollers called at me to come, come please.I’m certain this will get a million views in a short amount of time 😊Thanks again for taking the time and effort to film and narrate all that happened on this magical unforgettable voyage !!!!!🙏🙏🙏
ОтветитьI enjoyed your video, and thought you wrote and spoke very eloquently. I enjoyed the shots matching the music and the endless waving of the water captured so well.
ОтветитьI owned and sailed an old Pearson Ariel for several years and I miss it every day. I loved your voyage, you are an amazing strong crew. God bless.
ОтветитьIts jittering for amateur people like me
ОтветитьEnjoyed your sailing... 👌
ОтветитьI absolutely loved watching this. Thanks.
ОтветитьI love this I hope I get to do this
ОтветитьHad a yacht. Went to a cat. To easy to hit reefs . sharks dolphin whale. Due to the keel also cannot go in shallow waters. Also travel on a 45 degree angle all the way. Buy hay good video
ОтветитьWhen you're out in open water, your free, it's just you the wind and the ocean, it can be pain if you're tacking, your still free but sometimes ill.
ОтветитьThis was like an adventure. The huge 30 to 40 second giant waves were really scary. I felt like praying to god, when I saw dark clouds hovering over your boat. Thank god, you reached nz safely.
ОтветитьGood job!
ОтветитьAwesome epic voyage 15 day crossing the ditch Tasman channel all the way to the east coast of the New Zealand
ОтветитьVery inspirational.. Thank you for sharing your journey.
ОтветитьNice yacht, well sailed, a pleasure to watch. Thank you
Ответитьvery very nice beatiful
ОтветитьI love Shannon boats! Craftsman and beautiful. I enjoyed this video. Did a good job with content and editing.
Ответитьbrilliant video .
ОтветитьWOW!!! I always wanted to make an ocean crossing, however watching your trip will be quite enough 🙂. Brillant work, awesome sail, and I admire your courage !!! Wish you and crew fair winds and following seas !!!!!
ОтветитьAwesome video ❤❤❤
ОтветитьAt first seeing the title of this the first thoughts coming to mind was "What's the big deal and 15 days???" until I reminded myself of the distance and routinely chaotic weather systems en route. Didn't sit for the whole video but the parts I skimmed looked pretty good. The practical relevance of the swing keel on the vessel is of interest - about 41 minutes in.
