The writer Karen De Wofl was a distant relative of mine by marriage. I think it was my cousin's husband's sister.

Ten years before I was born, but I came out the womb following them in the funny papers.

Possibly a hundred people in attendance (maybe two hundred) $5,000 in ticket sales these tickets must have been outrageous.

Very hilarious Blondie film. As usual, Penny Singleton and Arthur Lake do justice as the wacky Bumsteads. Glad these films are on the MOVIES! channel on Saturdays after Laurel and Hardy. Thanks for sharing this funny vehicle.

I'm so late these were my favorites my mom introduced me to Black and White even though I'm young my mother had a whole collection of everything and this was me and my mother's thing to watch black and white movies and Blondie most definitely was one of my favorites thank you so excited binge watching right now while on vacation thank you so much again!!!!!!🥰🤩😍

Maybe somebody can explain this joke to me:

When Mrs. Dithers asks Mr Crum whether he minds her giving his part of the butler to Mr. Dithers, he responds "No, I think he'll make a dandy butler." This results in Mrs. Dithers doing a take.

I thought maybe "dandy butler" was an expression. I couldn't find any such expression online.anywhere.

So what's the joke?
