The animation in this commercial is beautiful. It makes me wonder why Nintendo stopped making commercials like this.

I think it's symbolic that Link and Wario barely made it under the console shell before it closed as the zelda cart version release and wario's woods were some of the last games made for the console ^_^

This literally has never failed to cheer me up, whenever I'm sad, anxious, or angry. That seems stupid IK, but the incredible wholesomeness of a bunch of Nintendo characters singing warms my edgelord heart.

What an interesting little commercial, indeed. What better way to cap off the Famicom's life cycle than to gather everyone for one last show?

Okay, maybe not THE last, since it's not like this was the last time we ever saw these characters or anything, but still.

I swear, Wart deserves to be playable in Smash Bros. one day. His game Doki Doki Panic aka Super Mario Bros. 2 introduced Bob-Ombs, Shy Guys and Birdo to the series.

Think about this: If Doki Doki Panic was never brought over to the west as Super Mario Bros. 2 than we wouldn't have Bob-Omb Battlefield in Super Mario 64, Shy Guy's Toy Box in Paper Mario and Bob-Ombs, Shy Guys and Birdo as recurring characters in the series. So Doki Doki Panic greatly change the Mario series in more ways than one and for that, Wart deserves to be a playable character in Smash for that reason alone. And this commercial kind of symbolizes that Wart is a important member of the classic Nintendo family so he's pretty much important to Nintendo's history.
