Buy damaged english cartridges for dirt cheap and swap out the language chip in a Japanese version. Buy non working copies for english cartridge with its graphic
ОтветитьYou forgot about brilliant diamond and shining peril I got mine Japanese cover
ОтветитьCause Americans are greedy AF and want the max amount for 0 value.
ОтветитьI have a Japanese copy of let’s go and it started in English, it’s virtually indistinguishable
ОтветитьI always Play japanese on Emulator if you know the Games it Does not really matter
ОтветитьLegends Arceus in Japanese looks badass
ОтветитьAs someone who is studying Japanese, modern Pokemon games are actually one of the most accesible series to play while studying the language. You already know the basics, so learning the gameplay isn't a problem. Navigating through the game isn't as difficult since the games also have furigana so you can brush up on your kanji easily. What makes it even fun is learning the various names of Pokemons and moves then comparing them with their localized counterpart.
ОтветитьYou need to hack your 3ds to play them tho
ОтветитьAnd yet those are the cheapest ones even in the U.S lmao
Nothing special
Well if they have an English language select, I'm playing Japanese versions
ОтветитьMan I remember playing Plat on release in JP and stumbling my way through the main story lol. Between this and eng/jp releases being simultaneous we’ve got it good now.
ОтветитьToo bad everything gen 6 and onward isn't even really worth playing....
ОтветитьThe games where you can change the language are no more than like 30 bucks… the ones where you can’t are the expensive ones
ОтветитьLast week I spent like 3 hours arguing with someone that Japanese games prior to the 3DS did not have language settings and they were adamant that they did because they knew the Switch games had it so why wouldn't all games prior have it as well.
This argument started with me saying something like "I've been playing this Japanese copy of Fire Red but I honestly have no idea what moves my team even has half the time until I use them"
And then they were adamant that I could change the language settings on a DS but it's in Japanese, can't find it 😂
I thought japanese copies were region locked to japanese hardware?
Ответитьlanguage selection started with gen 6 btw so any game prior to x and y will be locked to the language of the country/on the box just fyi
ОтветитьArent these region restricted though? Do they play on NA 3ds?
ОтветитьWho is Legend Sarceus?
ОтветитьConfirmed Japan still seeking reparations from America through video games after PH
ОтветитьI just use roms 🤣👍
ОтветитьThat would be nice but the 3ds is region locked
ОтветитьBut the problem is here is that the most expensive and sought after are in gens 1-5. Especially 3 and 4.
ОтветитьIs true ? If so, im hoping on ebay 😂
ОтветитьI did not know that oO. Thank you.
ОтветитьBtw if you really are bugged about it being jp you can mod your 3ds and get a client that can change its region I believe you can do this for ds and 3ds games
ОтветитьHomebrew
ОтветитьCareful the resellers with no morals will catch onto this and raise those prices too
ОтветитьPokemon games are pretty good for learning japanese since theyre made for childrens.
ОтветитьThe Japanese logos are so much cooler anyways
ОтветитьI have a Japanese emerald and sapphire in full box and papers . Theyre beautiful
ОтветитьAnd i bet you get literally everything almost and extras that no other people will get haha
ОтветитьIsn’t 3ds region locked
Ответитьcorrect me if im wrong, but aren't the ones for the 3ds region locked, or is that just the system itself
ОтветитьI Made it all simple, I just learned Japanese to play Pokémon, since they use there easy words for children .
ОтветитьOr hear me out the physical copy is cool and all but just use an emulator and a rom and u get that great feeling of sending the middle finger to Nintendo every time u open the emulator
ОтветитьWhat about the region locked games?
ОтветитьIt is pronounced ark-he-is.
ОтветитьJapenese art didn’t need to go so hard……..
ОтветитьCollectors ruin everything with their sealed copies and "grading". Games are made to be played. Japan hasnt been infected by this so much it seems.
ОтветитьNot kidding I got a Japanese copy of Emerald for $2
ОтветитьMe, someone who goes out of his way to play Japanese-version games: hell yea keep ‘em coming!
ОтветитьBut 3ds games are region locked, don’t forget to tell everyone that…
ОтветитьOr just get hshop
ОтветитьArent they region locked?'
ОтветитьWe can't read this shit
ОтветитьIf I have a Japanese Pokemon Yellow 2DS and have a Japanese copy of alpha saphire can I just change the language in game to enlgish?
ОтветитьThank you retro island lmfao
I have a jp leaf green incoming cuz I played pokemon before I could read to start lmao
I had axidently bought a Japanese 3ds and could not play any English version of 3ds games so had to get Japanese versions, and was glad when i found doing that worked
ОтветитьWhat about black and white
ОтветитьHow do I play japanese white and black on us 3ds
Ответить
