This will be something you will cherish in later years. Serving your countries military is a honorable thing - don't let anyone else tell you different.

Hi, it's a bit off topic. But giving that our country seems to be preparing for the possibility that we may end up going to war with Russia/ China.

It's lead me to wonder what will happen if conscription is brought back into use.

I've always said, I would be willing to do my part. But I'm 38 years of age now and I have a couple of health issues and again, I wonder if I would be called up if I happen to suffer with certain issues.

I have had episodes of atrial fibrillation that is well medicated and controlled.

I had high cholesterol too, but after using medication, I decided not to take statins to recover from that and tried my own method of changing my lifestyle and I now have my cholesterol under control myself.

So, given that information. Would I still be called up on.
Obviously I would hate our country to enter into a war, but if it happens I would hate not being able to do my part far more.
I would want to know that I did something worth while and know that I did what I could to protect my children and country.

Any information would be great.

I've always wanted to be in the army weirdly. I guess it's because my dad drove tanks and I've always thought it was well cool. Even now in college as a 16 year old it's something I'm considering. I can follow rules but I've not got much resilience in terms of workouts (always hated pe. But I'm working on this!) so I guess I'll see what happens. This video will deffo help

I'll tell people not to bother anymore as the entry requirements have gone from "high standards" to simply unrealistic and impossible for 80% of applicants.
Me and all my friends were rejected for the dumbest medical reasons. I'm convinced that Capita's doctors get paid a bonus for every man they deem "permanently unfit". I can't think of any other reason they're so trigger happy to label so many young people, eager to serve their country, as "useless" and turn them away.

We need a army for our country to protect our children from predators. They are everywhere. They should be restricted or supervised GYC 🇬🇧🇮🇪
