Terrible dangerous error at 1.09!! The caption says to connect the RCBO flying neutral lead to the EARTH BUSBAR. This neutral lead should connect to the NEUTRAL BAR.
"Do it right just do it" Pity you chose a totally innapropriate song. Should be "Do it wrong and burn your house down"
Poor design
ОтветитьA very simple but effective demonstration. Clear diagrams - Very Good
ОтветитьI dont have the luxury of isolating. Have to connect it to live panel.
ОтветитьNice and simple with exceptional step clarity - very good!
ОтветитьCan you put 8 ; 10 rcbos on a consumer unit.
Ответитьflying leads are made from a fine wire gauge if you cut to the correct length and expose minimal copper and twist (or use a ferrule) it should be ok.
ОтветитьRcd not rcbo.Rcbo is for a main switch its just for one device.
ОтветитьCan all the flying earth leads be connected to the same terminal - or is it just to keep some earth termianls spare. Very good video, easy to follow instructions. Thanks
ОтветитьThank you soo much, clear diagram easy to follow and work out.
Ответитьwhat is rcbo functioning
ОтветитьI still can't get excited about the ring wiring method. Seems like a big convoluted mess.
ОтветитьDo they use the newer type RCBO in the UK, they are same size as MCB, have live and neutral at bottom and top or only type with flying leads..
ОтветитьYou should not " cut " the RCBO blue flying lead as you stated , if you do this then the very fine wires that make up the flying lead are very difficult to terminate in the neutral bar and could lead to shorting of the circuit , this also applies to the white earth flying lead , always use the factory fitted crimped end of the flying lead to terminate the lead into the appropriate bar.......👍
ОтветитьHi. I hope you like the latest video. What would you like to see next ?
ОтветитьBravo!, super.
