This is such a bizarre, weird conversation. Meryl appears to be extremely uncomfortable and actually stupid, while trying to appear deep and highly intelligent. Silly.

Love that Meryl is so not intimidated by such a huge Ego staring direcly at her (that is Anna).

Meryl listened carefully to AWs pre-prepared speech and handed it back to her with aplomb. Quite fitting for a visceral Vouge really.

It seems like Ana has really bonded with her. She won’t talk about the movie or whether it portrays reality, but she genuinely seems to enjoy Meryl’s company.

Oh lord two self entitled rich women with reputations of being demeaning to people they consider beneath them is just aggravating, not worth my time.

I find the atmosphere so charged neither of them can be herself. Meryl more theatrical than usual and Anna talking as if she were reading a script. Two formidable, incredible women. If the interview took longer they might have had a chance to relax into it and be more themselves rather than feeding the expectations of others and possibly each other. Still, a great meeting of two great minds!

This was fascinating. Having watched both women iinterviewed with not so friendly interviewers, the energy dynamic between these two, was enticing. So much power each holds in their fields and though they are both aware of it, there is no wall or stiffness created by it. In fact they have a playfulness about it...which was the most intriguing.
