Express LRS range test on 10mW

in this video you used Frsky R9M External Module, is that right? and does that module use ELRS? Because I don't see the Frsky R9M being advertised with ELRS...

I have a problem, my range is so bad with my r9 2019 900mhz. 400 meters and failsafe. A new reciever and antenna are helping nothing ( other reciever placement too). I flasht both new? My lq is most of the time high but the rssidb is so low i have after 300meters -90 at 50 mw ???? Can someone help me

I put ExpressLRS in all my quads now .

I have found the Beitian 180 and 220 pretty hopeless at getting satelites, the larger 880 is far superior. I now shield all the wires to an earth and that has helped. great video and I have an R9 for my analogue quad it I can get to 1.5km without any issues the video is to me the limiting factor.

To be honest, I don't find it too impressive, I'm pretty sure you can go 30km with that setup

There is a similar video with the same output power with the original firmware. (With similar distance ~2km)

With that firmware you can go to 1W of output power.

May I ask you why it is better than the original frsky firmware for LR (Long Range) purpuse?

Is this with the internal antenna or the external?

Hey man, how did you get the LUA script for your radio? I went to gethub and couldn't find the download for the raw file. I could OPEN the raw file, and look at the script, but couldn't find a download for the LUA file. I'm new to github, and don't have experience with LUA. Should I copy and paste the script I can view into a compiler? Surely not, right???

Impressive flight time for a 5".

The Moxon probably provides approx. 5dB of gain off of the direction you're "pointing" your transmitter. That will help, but still impressive on 10mW of output power.

Superb! I need to get the Moxon, I think I broke my Super8 as I don't good RSSI on the bench compared to other folks who tested similarly. Can you share the commit shown on radio ELRS LUA page that you used for this flight.. assuming you're still on that version?
