The should replace tough movement with the marlin logo
ОтветитьI wish Casio had reversed the colors on the date wheel. Black date wheel with white numerals. I don’t see the problem with the tough movement on the watch face. In fact, the newer grand psychos look off because they removed the psycho on top and move the grand Seiko from the bottom to the top so you have it blank spot on the watch face. Terrible.
ОтветитьHow does it look when you remove the bracelet? It seems there are certain models which can be fitted onto a normal strap?
ОтветитьQuestion, if you wear this watch every day, and get some scratches, will polishing it like you would another watch return that level of polish it had initially?
Ответитьfor same money you get Longines conquest quartz 300m w resistance screw down crown name recognition
ОтветитьBrought this last year for my 40th...£540 from Japan including taxes. Lovely watch
ОтветитьNot sure why this popped up in my feed now but great review. Most importantly, what is the intro track?
ОтветитьMY SUBARU DOES NOT ALLOW THE ADITIONAL OF A FIFTH RUNNING WHEEL. 0___0
Ответить"SMUDGES" "SMUDGES" I DON'T SEE NO STINKIN' SMUDGES!
ОтветитьGeeewhizzz is this love??
ОтветитьOrdered mine yesterday.. waiting anxiously..
ОтветитьA Phenomenal Looking Watch And Video All The Best To You.
ОтветитьOnce I took out a halfling as well! It was an interesting experience.
ОтветитьI guess the reason why the upper link in the watch strap is integrated into the watch case itself is to increase the strength of the transition between the watch strap and the watch case. By allowing the fastening pin to have extra support in the middle, it will also withstand greater loads. This solution is difficult to achieve without having visible holes on the side. At least I think it's easier to accept the holes once I understand why they are there.
ОтветитьHow is the lume compared to the Seiko ?
ОтветитьI have the OCW-T3000-2AJF and it has none of the drawbacks of this watch.. It's pretty much perfect and I love it!
ОтветитьFitted a black rubber strap (a Casio, and it took some fiddling) and it is fantastic.
A watch you find yourself pulling up your sleeve just looking at it, it's beautiful, accurate, unique, and a bargain.
For such a radio-controlled watch, I personally prefer and proudly own the Citizen Atessa Eco-Drive watch. Comes in regular and black-coated titanium. It is also has a non-busy elegant dial as Casio does. Comes in DLC coated titanium bracelet and dial with the better-defined highly-polished indices and frame around the date window. These radio-controlled, light-powered, and super-precise watches, which newer need new batteries, are such a bargain! These two are exquisite and lightweight too! I personally prefer them to the majority of mechanical Yester-era watches.
ОтветитьI mate I am interested in buying one of these watches I live in the UK what do you think I pay in
ОтветитьFunfact since the release of this video the magic card in the beginning (mox diamond) has grown in price so much that its now more expensive than the watch
ОтветитьHow long does the power reserve last you? Where I live, winter is pretty long so my current Seiko Solar watch with a V157 (which supposedly has 10mo reserve, doubt it) battery dies out at some point towards December/January despite my efforts to keep it charged. During the summers, I keep it charged all the time and in sunlight whenever I can so as to keep the solar battery charged.
I only spent $300 on that Seiko, but the Oceanus S100 will run me $700 CAD. I really don't want to deal with the headache of worrying about if the watch will make it through winters or not - what are your experiences w the power reserve specifically?
Gorgeous watch! I want it so much.. I regret not buying it at my trip to Japan last year.
Unfortunately this watch is not fully useable in the middle east since there is no atomic clock radio signal here :\
Good review. I see there's another version of this watch (Casio Oceanus OCW-T200S-1AJF Radio Solar Bluetooth Watch) that seems to have the same features, but is all stainless steel instead of titanium and also lacks the crass "TOUGH MVT." text on the face. Similar price as well. But I'm posting this in Nov 2020 and perhaps this version didn't exist in 2018?
ОтветитьIt's an amazing watch, massively high quality, and I love Casio... But that intro itself where you swap the GS for the Oceanus is the perfect way to show why it's NOT a rival to it. That GS is simply so much more beautiful that I would sacrifice any kind of radio reception, solar, GMT - basically all of the great features of the Casio just for those looks. What a difference.
ОтветитьMakes me wish I traveled more often to justify buying this piece.
ОтветитьMox Diamond, nice!!!
ОтветитьYou never mentioned the lume or scratch resistant glass. You also talk too much. A watch should be wearable all day and night so if I take a shower or get in the pool why would I want a leather strap??? If you want a leather strap go for a different watch.
ОтветитьBought 3 years ago: NEVER adjusted, NEVER set DST, never charged or battery issues, always precise o the second! - Top level design (except for the "TOUGH MVT." logo on front) - After 3 years, I can check time everywhere: on the car, on clocks on walls or in the streets, but if I want to be SURE and I want to be precise TO THE SECOND, I always check my Casio Oceanus! - GO CASIO!
ОтветитьI hear in some areas the radio controlled time is crap. I’ve also heard the gps watches can also be shotty too... but I have no first hand experience.
ОтветитьAbsolutely dumb without the ability to add other straps.
ОтветитьYou failed showing us how it looks in the dark.
ОтветитьIf is a rival to GS then Rolex is also held at gun point?
ОтветитьNice watch I love casio watches
ОтветитьOnly the higher end casio oceanus manta are made by zaratsu.
Ответитьthat accent ring that goes around the edge is awfully familiar to the f-91w
ОтветитьI challenge you to an MTG match 😉
ОтветитьThank you for an expertly presented review of this beautiful watch. Mine just left Tokyo and is headed my way :D
Ответитьyou don't know nothing jon snow!, but keep trying!
ОтветитьCitizen makes a better atomic piece. In my opinion. Can’t beat a citizen in sub 1000 quartz.
ОтветитьLove the look, but its too small for me.
ОтветитьExcellent review. This could very well be my next purchase.
ОтветитьThx for a great review. I was wondering if this watch as its successor the T200 aligns the hands perfectly with the marks?
ОтветитьDoes it also hvn alarm function?
ОтветитьI wear this watch more often than the sarx033. I absolutely love this watch!
ОтветитьThis vs GRAND SEIKO SBGX061
ОтветитьThank you for the review. I have a very similar one (OCW-S100P-2A, light-blue dial with mother pearl). It is as good as you said, and is the most useful and practical watch I have ever owned.
ОтветитьDoes anyone know the difference between the 1AJF and 2 AJF? Thanks :)
ОтветитьCasio make brilliant watches for the money. I have the Metal and Gold G Shock B500 dont quote me on the model number! And a £45 Casio diver.. quartz that gains 3 seconds a Month!!
ОтветитьGrand seiko is my dream watch
