ОтветитьA very informative and important video. we took your advice and booked a hotel near Nørreport station, it's so convenient, walking distance to many attractions and most importantly Metro and Trains nearby.
ОтветитьThanks for showing us your city and sharing your experience. I'll visit Copenhagen with a group of students.
Medicinsk Museion sounds great. Have you been there? Would you recommend it?
Happiness Mueseum also sounds great.
Do you have some recommendations for team-building activities?
Thank you so much in advance for taking the time to share your suggestions!
My wife & I are discussing a possible trip to Copenhagen in early December. Would that be a nice time to visit for 3 nights?
Ответитьhi! would you choose differently during winter? the areas i mean :)
ОтветитьWhoa. Bicycle and pedestrian are everywhere. how much does renting a bicycle cost?
ОтветитьHello Chris, I am planning a trip to Europe next year and I wanted to spend two or three nights in Copenhagen. Which neighborhood do you suggest? Indreby? Thank you.
ОтветитьGreat video can you recommend safe hotels and safe areas to stay in for my friend solo travelling please 🙏🏾
ОтветитьHi,great video. Coming to Copenhagen in December for the first time. Could you please recommend any family friendly hotels as we coming with young children.
ОтветитьGood one!
ОтветитьWhile this video is definitely pretty good, it should probably be mentioned that it is possible to utilize Airbnb as well and using that option, it is possible to stay in the suburbs as well. As long as you stay relatively close to an S-Train line or a Metro station, you can easily get into the center of Copenhagen pretty quickly.
While it is a very good idea to get around by bicycle, a small caution is probably in place. Cyclists in Copenhagen for most part started cycling at a very young age. The pace and amount of cyclists may be a pretty intimidating experience but as long as you don't cycle around during rush hour in the morning and late afternoon, it should be pretty easy.
Depending on your specific interest, different parts of Copenhagen may be more interesting than others.
Copenhagen is rich in history but if you are looking for medieval buildings, there are actually not that many in Copenhagen.
Large parts of the medieval part of Copenhagen burned down in 1728, 1795 and 1807 (the last time thanks to the bombardment by the British navy). These fires laid waste to most of what was the walled in parts of Copenhagen. While there are some building left that are older than 1728, it is really not that many. It is easy to recognize the buildings that were built straight after the fire in 1728 since these buildings do not have 90 degree corners but a flat side at the corner which were made to ease the access of the horse draw fire department getting around. The old part of Copenhagen that burned down had very narrow streets. Part of the rebuilding after the fires in 1728, 1795 and 1807 was to open up the space somewhat to reduce the possibilities of a fire to spread too fast again.
It should be mentioned that the medieval part of Copenhagen was a fortified city up to the mid 1850s. From that time, it took a little more than 30 years for the old fortifications, bastions and the moat to be removed, reclaimed and turned into more or less the layout the city has today.
Excellent job, tak!
Ответитьhi Kris. we are coming to Copenhagen in September. we are looking for a nice hotel and since we are coming in a car we also need a hotel which includes parking. can you suggest such a hotel?
ОтветитьI will be back to live in Copenhagen for a while now and Im happy im gonna stay in norrebro 😍 But are there any bars or clubs that stay Open late around there ? Because In albanian culture we are used to stay in one of the neighberhoods bars or caffe till very late 😂
ОтветитьGreat channel. ❤️
ОтветитьThanks Kris. I like your style. Just subscribed. Stephen 👍✈️
ОтветитьI ve been saying "Eastergade" all this time:/
ОтветитьNice informative video. It seems like you're either shooting the videos at 30fps or exporting them below 60fps which makes the video tearing to the eyes. Would bump the already nice quality that you're striving for. Wish you good luck with your channel.
ОтветитьGreat video! Glad I found your channel. Visiting for the first time in Sep. What do you recommend for hostels? Is it worth staying at different ones in different areas or is it easy to get to the neighbourhoods you mentioned?
ОтветитьHi, I first visited Copenhagen in 2014 and arrived here today for the 5th time. Its such a brilliant place and everyone is so friendly. I want to get a train to another town to see a bit more of Denmark, do you have any sugestions? I was thinking Roskilde, a friend suggested Helsingor.
ОтветитьJeg boede pa et hotel pa Borgergade naer Gothergade. Sandsynligvis ikke meget eventyrligt, men praktisk.
ОтветитьProbably should have watched this before I stayed at a bnb right on that stretch of Istedgade! 😅 I didn’t feel unsafe or anything, but was loud all through the night.
ОтветитьAnywhere a few minutes' walk from a Metro station (or S-train) gives easy, fast, comfortable, inexpensive access to anything you might want in Copenhagen.
ОтветитьHi Kris, do you know if the "around the sound" ticket still available for purchase at the tourist center in Copenhagen? If yes, is it still valid to use it for train between Copenhagen and Roskilde? Thank you for your info as I cannot find any recent information online, only those that were years ago.
ОтветитьIn my two-week trip in Denmark, I am thinking to spend 4 nights in Copenhagen
ОтветитьI like this city...
It looks so clean and..friendly atmosphere..
Take a walking here is fun..and cozy
Thank you for yours videos, this summer I am going to visit the city and your videos are very helpful :)
Could you tell me, if the weather is in the beginning of September still good?
Thanks for the tip! I'm too lazy so probably staying at city centre! 😊
ОтветитьThere’s nothing like Nørrebro 🥰
Btw - I live in Kværndrup 🤣
Does the changing of the guard happen everyday at 12 and I have to pay or for free?
Ответить🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰
ОтветитьWhat about Kværndrup? Could you make a video about that city?
ОтветитьHi there.
