Running is fine, but it also is jarring on your joints.
Brisk walking using inclines is better, and merciful on your joints.

Thanks soo much for this btw I saw this 3 months ago but I didn’t comment cuz I forgot to but anyways I started 3 months ago gym and now I got huge muscles and I’m soo thin and slim I love my body now and I’m also tall I wasn’t fat I just had a bit of small belly fat and a bit in my legs and hands but I lost all of that and I also gained big muscles in only 3 months and ima keep on going never give up on gym also btw u need protein and healthy diet for me I started diet and healthy protein from the first day of my gym which was 3 months ago and now I feel soo good and ima keep on going with the gym and the healthy diet for ever cuz it’s the best thing to keep my body stay strong aid healthy always stay healthy thin and muscular and strong 💪

Yes, 30 min of incline walking is great. But all of this will be useless if you don't eat right.
