Not the typical stereotypes of BA. Not the typical industry of kill off the Strong Black heterosexual man. No white worshipping or slavemaster white actor roles as overseers of BA. Actual Black male female couples. No bm/bd mess. No forced alphabet agenda and sex scenes. Actual BA Actors.

Storyline stayed consistent.This was truly a welcome piece of work. Deon and the entire cast made me proud as well as the Writers and Directors. I binged watched and stayed interested and on the edge of my seat the whole time. Thank you to the cast and writers for bringing back good scrren viewing.

BEST looking show I have ever seen on BET. I don't know if it was the budget, the lighting, the cameras they use, or the production value but this is very well done.

It's a good show despite the hardware store owner's wife.. No one is that belligerent, especially at that age..Her character is too over the top .... Black women are way smarter than that.

Pretty good show but the way they wrote Joe's Daughter is annoying as hell. Got her acting like white kids do with their parents. Black Parents dont play that sht and the ones that do probably either have white friends who have kids who talk to them any kind of way they feel like or they live around a bunch of white people and their kids have white friends who talk to their Parents like they dont respect them and witnessing that has the kids of those black parents trying on those shoes for themselves. Is BET trying to normalize that disrespectful sht for black audiences? This is how you know black people don't own BET.

It takes a lot to keep my attention when it comes to shows and films. This show has my attention!!! 🤎

Great show breaking bad type

lame and boring and super unrealistic. for example in the first ep they take the phones (not even turned it off) from the 2 dead mafia members with them, one guy even takes the phone at home and use it for entertainment purposes. the other very stupid guy leaves the phone turned on in his own car.
